Why? This is my opinion! Winter Skies is just a tedious and slow song which I automaticly skip when I listen to the album. "When Mountains Fall" tries desperately to be the 2nd "Forever" but fails ...

:?: On the subject of downloading the album......I have to admit I am quite divided on that subject. On one hand I have been waiting for a true return of my favorite band in the whole world STRATOVARIUS. I mean honestly the S/T album was not my favorite even though it had a couple of good songs ...

"Emancipation Suite Part 1" must be one of the best songs of the album. Quite big arrangements. Abit like the song "Infinite" and "Elements". Very good and emotional guitar and keyboard solo in the middle of the song.

If they sent out the promos then chances are high that it will be leake soon.

Yepp, they have faded down the volume in the songs for like 5 seconds or so though so it shouldn't be "as fun" to leake the album on the net I guess.

Received a promo copy of the new Stratovarius album today by snail mail. Sounds good so far, but I need to listen to it more.
You should really check out the song "Emancipation Suite Part 1", truly my favourite song so far!

Personally I must say that I liked the first song more. This one is not bad and the first one is not bad either, but none of them sounds special. I don't even remember them. On this second song I really have problems with the vocals. The low vocals sounds kinda weak and when he takes high tones you ...

This is some heavy stuff. I love it. It's atmospheric and really emotional music.

The album will be released in May according to a press release from the new record company today.

I'm not into taking sides here , but it's quite weird that Tolkki first are giving away all the rights of the name Stratovarius, says that he does not want anything to do with it and then decides to release a new album without Jens, TK and Jörg. Doesn't really matter if it's "one last album", I mean ...
