Stratovarius Community

Elements Part 1.

I was in London in 2005 and was picking up a few CD's of bands I wanted to check out. I did'nt know which Stratovarius album to get, so I went for the one which had the best artwork in my opinion.

So is Wacken the only place where the track has been played live?

The Dublin show was great, the band were on top form, and Timo's voice was perfect.

Mattias is a great guitarist but did seem pretty nervous, but I reckon I would have felt the exact same in his shoes; he did great. :)

The setlist was fantastic, pretty much the same as everywhere else I think, but ...

I got the Polaris tour tshirt with the dates on the back, £20 and my girfriend got one of the girlie tshirts which were the same price. The hoodies were £35. Drumsticks were £10 a pair.

That sounds expensive to my ears ...

That's very cool, great to see the page themed towards the new album.

Also, having the gig dates on the main page is great, the old page was very dated and difficult to find any information from.


Btw Jens, have all the winners of the UK tour competition already been contacted?

I was pleasantly surprised that an Irish show was announced, we don't get that many Power metal bands playing over here, so to have the kings come over is great. :)

The venue in Dublin is pretty small, so it's gonna be a new experience seeing Strato in an intimate venue as opposed to festivals in ...

Angra are one of my favourite bands, I was lucky enough to see them in Paris on the Aurora Consurgens Tour in 2007, and it was of course a great show.

I've gotta say that I think Edu is a better vocalist than Andre, there's a lot more power ...

This was a really amazing tour, I saw many of the shows in Europe, and in March I flew to Brazil for the shows in Rio and Sao Paulo.. amazing!
