Actually, I think the "Maniac Dance demo" won't feature any vocals at all.
Just look at the description - (M: Timo Tolkki)

M stands for Music.. the L on the other songs' descriptions, on the other hand, goes for Lyrics.
Since no one was given credit for the lyrics on the demo, I guess there are no lyrics to be
given credit for, and hence, no singing, or any singer at all for that part.
Oh, I didn't see that.

Well, that should answer the question as to whether Miss K. is on the demo version or not!

That yellow jacket is hurting my eyes! :? :D

Seriously, is that supposed to be Tolkki on the cover? Just a representation, I suppose? :?
It gets the message across, I guess. :buh:

yeah, i too grim&gritty, thats its not the strato that we know, i think we have to expect more changes that we are not ready to enjoy (as well hate) beacuse this is a "alternate-dark" strato.

From finnish side's link to Maniac Dance clip (realplayer):
http://smil.jvcmusic.co.jp/naviram?cd=S ... 3&sid=ATVE

Is that Risto Asikainen's techno version? :o Sounds like that.

If you wrote at google something like  stratovarius stratovarius review, you can find reviews of strato's new album. Of course there is a danger to spoil

The cover is great! :headbang: It's primitive and full of hidden purposes at the same time, IMHO.

OMG, I can't wait this quarter hour left. :) I tried to find the direct link to the video file, but I failed. Ok, I'm not too good at it, but hey, maybe they hidden it under a different page.

I am glad. Finally something new from Stratovarius - after three albums recording just the same stuff.
And I'm also glad that they tried something new with the covers. You remember, before Infinite they always used to change the cover artist, but then this Derek Riggs made them all. Don't misunderstand me, I liked Infinite-cover, but Intermission, the Elements, Eagleheart-single - they sucked IMO, and they were all of the same sort.
Dunno if it's still Derek Riggs who made the new covers, but at least the single is something completely different, and on the album there are no ridiculous and strange figures.

I am really looking forward to the new album. Finally something new...

I saw the video on the Strato's website. Well, I must be honest : this song really surprised me. It's not the Strato's I knew before anymore. It's more agressive, heavy and give a strange sensation of faintness, especially on the beginning with the "beep, beep, beeeeeep, beep beep, etc". This is absolutely not my favourite song even if I must admit that the band has well done to change the way they go on. A good attitude! Anyway, I'll wait for the album to be released before I have a definitive opinion about it. :)
Toutes choses étant égales, par ailleurs, la solution la plus simple est toujours la meilleure.

You like it though? Strange, really strange, because you´ve wrote 4000 times - sorry many times that you can´t stand hearing this song live. :P

I bought the single in Wacken. I think, that United is better than MD, and it might reach one of the places of my Top-20 or even Top-10 hits. The Club Mix is not that bad, but I think, it's good only for one listen. The demo version has only guitar in it... quite interesting, even if it's boring.

meh, even so, i will not buy the single (CDs in Monterrey are EXPENSIVE, especially foreign music (read: good music) so a single is defenitely out of the question for me, but I WILL buy the cd :D

Nope, it's not Derek Riggs, but Sander N. Photos were taken by Alex Kuehr.

I bought it yesterday... I found it by chance when I went to a store to pick a cd I had asked. It was cheaper than a regular CD, R$ 17,00 which surprised me... I was expecting something around R$ 25,00.
It's the digipack version (don't know if there's another version than the digipack one) and it has 4 songs as well.

I agree with you Pete, United is much better than Maniac Dance, but I liked it too... i don't feel bothered listening to it. The problem is that club mix... what the hell was that?! :puke:
Calm me radical but I can't stand that pop beating. I listened to half of the song and couldn't go farther...

ill but the single but it seems like a (in argentinian words ) "curro" to mee... come on.. maniac dance club mix? that is not stratovarius wtf... and united its way better song, i think that maniac dance is one of the worst strato songs.

Im glad that the rest of the album is not like that

Well, I think, that the club mix is not that shitty, but not a big boom either. I listened to it once, and that was all, maybe I will listen to it some more times, but not too often. Maybe twice. :)

There is a limited edition digipak and a normal CD version (which therefore doesn't contain the Maniac Dance clip). But I don't know, wether all the digipaks are limited or not. If Jens could help us out, that would be nice.
