It would be great to see them playing bonus songs like "kill it with fire" "fireborn" or "castaway" live just as it would have been great to see them playing "ride like the wind" and they never did(?).

Jens songs are amazing too and they never played more than "king of nothing" "winter skies" and "move the mountain" in their entire life. I hope that changes now, cause dragons and castles in the air are a huge contribution to the whole nemesis.

Matias wrote:Of course we’ll have more time, something about 90 minutes and our aim is to play a super long set with a lot of songs from the “Nemesis” album. Definitely we’re gonna play “Unbreakable”, “Halycon Days”. We talked with Timo on the phone these days and agreed that we should also check “Abandon”, “Nemesis”, “If The Story Is Over”, “Fantasy” and “Dragons”. There was talk that we should try “Castles In The Air” by Jens. So there are only two songs out: "Out Of The Fog" and "One Must Fall". Of course we have to practice them first, to go to the rehearsal room as a whole band and see how they work out. I really hope we can play all of those songs.
That's interesting.

I was thinking, since the band seems to be so relaxed and is playing a great setlist these days, it would be cool if they did a live album like Polaris Live again. Record several shows and make a selection of songs to put out.

What do you think?

We had the Jörg farewell tour DVD, why not a Rolf hello tour DVD?

They did play "Why Are We Here?" and "Glory of the World" on the Infinite tour, though.
OMG, they fired Jari! Bastards!

I read somewhere that Matias said that they rehearsed Castles in The Air. Still have the hope they'll play it at some summer festivals.

I'm for more "Winter Skies"!! (Especially now, in summer, for mental cooldown)
You've got so much to say, say what you mean, mean what you think and think everything - why not?

A little necrobump... with the Visions show done, it kind of re-newed my wish they'd play a special-setlist-show once, only songs from the last three albums. They could play one or two bonus tracks, I'd love to hear Kill It With Fire once for example... and Nemesis was great live, would be cool to hear it again. Kinda like this, bit more than one hour:

Infernal Maze
Event Horizon
Deep Unknown
Stand My Ground
Winter Skies
Forever Is Today
Halcyon Days
Kill It With Fire
If The Story Is Over
Old Man And The Sea
Fantasy
Nemesis
Unbreakable

Thoughts?

One of the shows they'll be doing at the Full Metal Cruise in August would be perfect for a special setlist :D
