Best post-Tolkki songs

It's have been about five years since Tolkki left Stratovarius. After that Strato have released three albums and 42 songs (bonus and mixed tracks included, you are able to correct me if I counted wrong). I think it's a good time to make some kind of "best of" list. So let's make top 20 list. To me personally it's very hard but I try to.

Here is my list:

1. Castels In The Air
2. Halcoyn Days
3. Out Of The Fog
4. Darkest Hours
5. Stand My Ground
6. Under Flaming Skies
7. If The Story Is Over
8. Nemesis
9. Elysium
10. Unbreakable
11. One Must Fall
12. Move The Mountain
13. Abandon
14. Deep Unknown
15. Winter Skies
16. The Game Never Ends
17. King Of Nothing
18. Somehow Precious
19. Infernal Maze
20. Fairness Justified

After the first ten it got very hard to list those songs. There are some songs in the end which could be in higher position and vice versa. If I make it again later it would be maybe a bit different, but I'm pretty sure that the songs I included now would be there later.

20 songs out of 42? I mean I like all of the songs on all three albums, but choosing the better half is a bit much.

Deep Unknown
Winter Skies

Darkest Hours
Elysium

Castles in the Air
If the Story is Over

From Nemesis it gets damn tricky since there are so many good ones....

Honestly I am not even listening to that much metal these days. I think i'm getting old!

From Polaris : Deep Unknown + Winter Skies

From Elysium : Elysium + Infernal Maze
PS: Under Flaming Skies fits perfectly live, and it's, for me, a good option too.

From Nemesis: Castles In The Air and Stand My Ground.
PS: Unbreakable live is bombastic!

I personally think that those 3 albums are better than Elements Pt.I, Elements Pt.II and Stratovarius, and perhaps Elysium the best since 1998 and Nemesis since 1997. Way to go!

Disagree on the first but agree on the second. I think Nemesis contends with Episode and Elements Pt. 1 as the best Stratovarius album of all time. Elysium is definitely Destiny-level material. Polaris isn't as good but it's still pretty fun to listen to and if I learned anything from Jens, it's to be happy in every single location, every single time of day.

Favorite Songs:
10. Winter Skies
9. Unbreakable
8. Move the Mountain
7. Last Shore
6. The Game Never Ends
5. Forever is Today
4. Castles in the Air
3. Dragons
2. Elysium
1. If the Story is Over

I feel that way sometimes too, but then I drift back to metal.

As for me, from Polaris, Deep Unknown and Forever Is Today
From Elysium, The title track, Under Flaming Skies and Infernal Maze
and from Nemesis, Out of the Fog, Abandon, Nemesis, Halcyon Days, and Dragons.

I feel younger at 21 than I've felt at any age since like... 15.

Age is irrelevant if you have a huge penis.
