Your album of the month

Post by MetalAngel » Fri Apr 07, 2006 9:30 pm

Good evening to all, my friends! Yes, this is a new topic about music, but not any kind of topic : this is about the album released in the last month before the current one, it means the album which was out in march, for now, and so on...You can only vote for one album and explaining why do you like it, but you can talk about the others.

Well, I begin for March :

my album of the month is Doro's Warrior Soul. The point is that this album is going right to the essential (it's direct) by bringing a great classic heavy metal "à la" 80's...The melodies are really pleasant and full of this subtile emotion that only Doro can give through her unique hard rock voice... :) This album is just Rock'n'Roll! I can advice it you.

Hehe! I want to be in competition with all the spammers here!

No, more seriously, I wanted to edit the title but I must ask Jens for it... :? Could someone ask Jens to change the title into "Your Album Of The Month"?

There is a kind of déjà-vu in here! ;)

Best album of March. Mmm, I'd say RAGE : Speaking Of The Dead, and ALTARIA : The Falling Empire, even if to be honest I hadn't listened to them yet.

Album of the month in March? Hmm... If there weren't six of them and the fact the they are remasters, I'd say the absolute highight in March were the re-released Tarot albums. No doubt of that.

But, to follow the rules I'm picking "Vanity" by Evilion

An absolutely awesome debut album by a bunch of talented musicians. The music is a mix of styles ranging from classical and symphonic influences throurgh hard and thrashy into delicate and fragile. Slightly proggish, but definitely metal.

The icing on cake are the two pretty ladies at mics, Angela delivering a diverse rock voice and Anna a trained classical mezzo. Angela also writes the lyrics and composes all vocal lines for the band and...

... but you'd better click here to find out yourself, and while in there at their website, you can download the full album legally for free in mp3 (192 kb/s) or ogg (256 Kb/s).

- Yeah, I'd call this the treat of the month, for sure! 8)
The 1st rock thrown again
Welcome to hell, little Saint
Mother Gaia in slaughter
Welcome to paradise, Soldier

And it seems a title topic is a bit different from a 1st post.

One in another, it is quite similar, but always nice to say it one more time here!

@MetalAngel: You're welcome! :wink:
