I love Once!
It's so amazing.
Btw. yesterday I bought Ayreon's The Human Equation and it's amazing too.
I can't really pick up some lone songs, because it's Unity with huge U.
Yes, it's fantastic album, but not so good that Once is.
Edguy's Hellfire Club is very good too, 3th best album this year.
And I'm still waiting for Sonata Arctica's new album and Twilightning's new album could be cool too.

You say "Once" is a boring album. And what do you say about "Century Child"? I guess the new album is much better. Some good block-busters make "Once" more rich and listenable.Mormegil wrote:Dark Chest Of Wonders and Ghost Love Score are good, but all the others are soooo boring.

Century Child was much better, Once is simply boring, I couldn't listen to it in one sitting ... Once is one of the biggest dissapointments of the year ...

Edguy - Hellfire Club
Elevenking - Wyrd
there were few medicores, kotipelto etc.
and already a very big disapointment in nightwish - once (except GLS).
Rhapsody's Dark Secret EP is quite promissing, but on the other hand it's still just a good old rhapsody with completly nothing new in the their music.
And Sonata Arctica's Don't Say a Word CDS is just... marvelous... a very big hopes for the album of the year, can't wait for Reckoning Night.

I really dig Edguy's "Hellfire Club." I'm also pretty happy with Heavenly's "Dust to Dust" (tho' it doesn't hold a candle to "Coming from the Sky" IMHO). The jury's still out on Finntroll's "Nattfodd", as I just obtained it this past weekend and haven't given it many listenings yet. "Beyond the Gates" by Cans isn't bad, but I don't know if it will have lasting quality to me (the way HammerFall's GTTB & LOK do).
Here's my two cents on Nightwish...
I love the album "Once". It's spectacular IMHO (especially "Planet Hell"). It doesn't beat "Oceanborn" or "Wishmaster", but it's still an excellent effort, as was "Century Child."

My list of the best albums so far :
Diablo: Eternium
Finntroll: Nattfödd
Ensiferum: Iron
Turisas: Battle Metal
Mokoma: Tämän maailman ruhtinaan hovi
---
Bubbling under: Death Angel: The Art of Dying
I'm waiting for the new albums from Sonata Arctica, Twilightning, Barathrum, Children of Bodom and Judas Priest (the rumour says it'll be released on December!)

Fear Factory - Archetype is the only album I bought so far. I got Rhapsody's The Dark Secret EP too, and I'm now looking forward in getting Symphony Of Enchanted Lands 2.
Also, I'm dying to get my hands on Rammstein's new album and when Slayer's new CD gets released, I'll get that one too.
