Hi Silence,
I wrote an explanation about Japanese grammar.(auf Deutsch)
Which is better, here or PM?

Thanks a lot! :)

@Angel_of_Death

Your sign is "Mizunoto I (Inoshishi)"

Fortune-telling

"Mizunoto" is "Shade of water" and "I" are also "water" , they are same spirit and type.
"Mizunoto i"is located in the last in the " 60Kan" cycle, and water is the symbol of winter.
For all, it is lucky to make the preparation for the next growth.

The fairy tale of "ETO"

Post by Kaoru » Sat Sep 20, 2003 2:31 pm

The end of a certain year , The God was told to animals.
"Come to a palace in the morning of the New Year.
You are made the king of a year in turn up to No. 12."
The cat was not hearing a talk of God well.
so cat asks to rat , "Going to the palace of God is when?"
rat said "It is 2nd day of year."
The rat taught the lie purposely.

Bull was departure in the last evening.
Rat looked it and asked to bull ,
"Are you departure now?"
"Yes I am , because I am slow." bull said.

The rat which heard it rode on the back of a bull secretly.

The morning came.
The bull stood up , was waiting in front of the gate.
Then, the rat jumped in into the gate ahead of the bull.
So rat is 1st , and bull is 2nd.

The tiger has run.
A tiger's leg was quick , but were not able to be 1st.
The rabbit was off guard.
The rabbit was late departure and did not get No. 1.

The dragon rode and went to clouds.
The dragon said to the snake.
"Hey snake! Let's go together!"
But the snake said ,
"I am fearful that I go the same way as everybody.
Because may be stepped on.
But clouds are more fearful."
The snake went the near way of a grassy place.

Many other animals went to the palace.
Only the horse and the sheep which by going through from many others.

"Hey Dog! Where are you going?"
The monkey said to The dog.
"Oh monkey , I'm going to same place as you!"
"Really? Let's go together!"
"No I want ! you always scratch me!"
"What? always bite just you!"
"Stop! Stop! Don't fight at the beginning of the New Year."
The cock arbitrated.
The cock entered between the dog and the monkey and they went to the palace.

The wild boar was also very quick.
However, it was too quick and passed the palace.
so the wild boar was last after all.

And the twelve animal signs were determined.

The next day...
The cat came to the palace.
"What? It's too late." The god said and laughed.
The cat thought "The lie was taught by the rat!"
From it...The cat go after the rat!

(FYI In Japan , dog and monkey are symbol of bad relations.)

This story with the cat is famous. Some of my friends read the manga "Fruits Basket", it's related to zodiacal animals and one more time the cat and the rat can't get along together. It's funny! :)

Yes, it's a shoujo manga by Takaya Natsuki and it has been adapted to anime recently. It's pretty funny, though it's not one of my favorites. :)

It is not broadcasting on television of a ground wave at least in Japan.

Sadly for us, it isn't broadcasted in France either, but a friend of mine downloaded the episodes on Kazaa. Trust me, it's really hilarious!

About anime, I really like "Slayers"... it has interesting characters and plot, I enjoy the drawings and it's so funny! ;)

Oh, you know Slayers? This is the best series EVER... ;) but in France it's boycotted because of this f***ing AnimaLand and their crappy reviews!! >=(

(those bastards only like Disney and commercial stuff...) :buh:

BTW, since I collect all about it I have the 7 first volumes of the manga in German... but I can't understand a word! :eyes

btw: You get _much_ more manga releases there in France and often even earlier than here (that's why I buy the French versions there everytime I'm in France ;P)...

When I bought the mangas via Internet only the seven first were released... I'd like to buy the new ones but it's quite complicate for payment. :(

In France, we have many releases for some years, but most of the titles released are crap. I'm sorry, but that's the truth. Of course, we also have excellent series like GTO, etc... but we all know that some great series will never be released here - like Slayers or Lost Universe, despite of their success all around the world. I'm waiting for the french translation of the manga since such a long time, the TV series were released since 1999 and were a real success, but the crappy AnimaLand has too much power on the sales and favours only one editor, Dynamic Visions. That's really unfair and disgusting. >=(

PS: do you speak French?
