Took a quick look at what happened since I last visited...

I have to say I like where this thread is going
I'll check it out in full detail tomorrow morning but before that I have to ask one thing from our little friend alienred here: Your posts avoid all argumentation altogether. How do you chose the right religion if you don't base your selection on certain facts or rational thinking or at least proper argumentation. Intuition once again? Now what guarantees then that your intuition is right about this one?

And I hope you won't get too depressed out here. It's not humanity's fault - blame the internet.

Why don't you find something about Jiddu Krishnamurti and Eckhart Tolle, who by some strange coincidence speak almost identical things?

I guess you killed the thread. Thank you AAAAAAAAAA, your brave actions will not be forgotten.

Either that or Alienred's keyboard is broken and he's entering each letter one by one using the character map, in which case he should be done with his next post sometime in the next century.

the human mind is free, one person can think whatever .....

"THE EVOLUTION" all borm for spirit evolution, no have other thing.... all the other stuff is casual....

Play in a band, be a technician, be doctor, be all career you can image is casual, the true objetive is the evolution down the flag "free will"

The evolution path isnt easy..... the human race do a lot bad stuff for ignorance, arrogance and super EGO

If you Open you mind and understand all the wise masters of the history "jesus crist, buda etc....

with diferences.... all the they are speaking one same language.

Some nice Russian music and really nice translation, almost correct:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LHE5wZ_08s

A lurid moon is grinning from the sky
And machinating, winking its black eye.
All myriads of stars seem arrowheads.
While taking aim at silhouetted dreams,
Love gloats and with sadistic laughter screams.
And you and I are easy mark it has.

I raise my hand to touch ye.
I shield your heart from archer.
Now you are safe and may enjoy your flying all alone.
Heart of yours is bifacial.
Its top is stuffed with special
Velvety grass but underneath is chilly bottom made of stone.

Now you may look but hardly trust your eyes
That see a beast waylaying in the skies.
In Him I feel mischief and black-art spell.
I'll never know and surely never knew
Why He is so intent on catching you.
Your soul is evil even for the hell.

I raise my hand to touch ye.
I shield your heart from archer.
Now you are safe and may enjoy your flying all alone.
Heart of yours is bifacial.
Its top is stuffed with special
Velvety grass but underneath is chilly bottom made of stone,
Very chilly bottom made of stone,
Very chilly, very chilly...

Its all about music after all...

Welll, the word "Chilly" is absent in the original - its twice "the stone", but i can't say, it's incorrect, it fits the meaning nevertheless. (rhyme for that matter)
This translation, is remarkably close (imho)

(bottom of the heart according to the song)

The song Опиум, by the way, is a hit song for the fans, just like black diamond in Stratovarius:

All i know, that it was a bonus track on one of the albums. Don't remember about the movie, although i heard something like this.
Great song - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKED52QiOec
SatanicSmile wrote: First thing I listened from them was this whole concert
Ah, yes, great concert, they always have a very deep meaning behind the lyrics even if the song sounds very light or pop. The idea of imminent death is one of the central themes in their music, as well as madness of our world.

Fan favorites:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNPKDD9nwq0

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JC99Su8HJA - Ураган Hurricane (now that's, what i call musical screaming)

Lyrics found on youtube in one of the comments

After forty thousands years of wandering Wind back to the old mother On the last dose of air and sleep. Kiss me, I'm dying, Only very carefully, Mom! Do not look in the eye, dead eye of a hurricane! Forty thousand years in a Fairy Tale, Stars gave me for good luck The force of the ocean and the heart of a dead man. And I have forgotten how to cry, Mom! But the roar when the fog See the sails of the dead eyes hurricane. Pai-ra-pa-pa-ra-pa! The Way To Hell! Pai-ra-pa-pa! The Way to Hell

I recommend this album, one of their greatest in my opinion, and has a very deep philosophical meaning "Ураган"
