He was great. I've got tickets for the exhibition David Bowie Is in a museum in Groningen (The Netherlands) but since he has passed my visit there will be quite sad I guess.

Really didn't see this coming. His latest album does make a lot more sense now though.

Legendary musician, artist, human being. I cried a lot yesterday.

Didn't know much about him, but I remember Starman and watching him in Labyrinth as a kid. He will be missed.

the legacy of david bowie is tremendous, his ziggy stardust is proven to be so influential even for coming up young artists...a record with more than 40 years, unbelieveable.
he did so much stuff is impossible to sum it up in a brief text.
and I dont even know his entire discography

the loss of weiland, lemmy and now bowie...is gonna be a less cool year for rock 2016...

As I saw on a post somewhere, let's be glad we lived the same time as David Bowie. The Earth is more than 4 Billions years old but we managed to live in the same time frame (69 Years) coexisting with this great man.

Yes, as opposed to boring has-beens like Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Edison, and Jesus Christ

  Jesus and Bowie?

I would have liked to live in Eden and eat apples with Kain or Abel. Or why not Mr Adam Fig Leaf Godsson himself. That would have been something to write home about.

Jesus or Lincoln? PFFFFFFFFFFFF...
