Any avid readers around? What are you reading now? I'm munching away Discworld series (I think they made a game about it in the early 90's?) Great fun anyways.
How about you?
P.S. Any tips on cheap online bookstores (that deliver to Finland) are welcomed. Some listings on Finnish bookstores at http://www.kirjakaupat.fi/, but let me know if you know any cheap foreign bookstores.

Re: What are you reading now?
Hi there! I'm reading Platform by Michel Houellebecq.
I'm curoious about the band members, if they are avid readers too, if they seek inspiration in art in general, such as books, movies, paintings and so on. But I'm afraid this is not the point of this thread.
Regards!
Miriam

The dollar comes before the number, and a comma should be used as a delimiter.doc_holliday wrote:I heard that guy makes 750 000$ per year on his patreonLinnette Gray wrote:I am currently reading 12 Rules for Life by Jordan B. Peterson

Re: What are you reading now?
I think both(commas and spaces) are fine in Canada. You're right about the dollar sign though. It's a bad habit I have to put the dollar sign at the end.AAAAAAAAAA wrote:The dollar comes before the number, and a comma should be used as a delimiter.doc_holliday wrote:I heard that guy makes 750 000$ per year on his patreonLinnette Gray wrote:I am currently reading 12 Rules for Life by Jordan B. I think the new "Spotify" for books approach is very welcome. Bookbeat and Storytel is doing great job in this sector.

Re: What are you reading now?
Right now, I'm tasked to write an article about investments and movements in the German real estate market, so everything I've been reading for two weeks now is articles like that...
However, I've managed to read a couple webcomics while working, be it Maximilian Uriarte's Terminal Lance (which is surprisingly close to what I have experienced in the Belgian army a decade ago) and mrozna's We Were Lost, a comic about one of my favourite game series.

Re: What are you reading now?
I have this habit of reading a bunch of things at the same. So: a book (The Chaperone by Laura Moriarty) and a blog about parenting (https://theparentingco.com/are-you-read ... -a-parent/) because we're finally(!) thinking of trying to expand the family. Also, I just finished skimming through a thesis about music and workplace productivity!
