The DVD editing/ mix/ mastering/ release is a pretty complex thing with a lot of people involved! But this one (finally!) is coming out. Third time's a charm or whatever .. ^^

I assume edel just doesn't want to put a firm release date before they are 100% sure they will be ready. In JVC's case they feel this date is when they will be 100% ready. In a way the band is even a little bit out of the loop with these details, and I don't mind.

When we have firm release dates for the whole world we will let you know of course!

Yes, I saw that part of his post; since he said that Edel (?) wasn't sure when the worldwide release would be, I was wondering if I should just get the Japanese copy. So my question was more along the lines of was it possible that the worldwide release would be a long time after Japan?

Usually they aren't however I'm not the authority of that.

Thanks Hiro; I just know that sometimes it can take up to over a year for a DVD to be released in NTSC format sometimes. I think the Nightwish End of an Era DVD took almost 2 years before it was converted to NTSC for North America.

Thanks Hiro; I'm not too worried about it since I have a DVD player that is PAL-compatible, so if I have to buy the Japanese release, I will.

I would still love the idea of all Lauri's ...in Progress videos being on the DvD along with some new ones.
He is an amazing Bass Player and has a talent for being a comedian as well
