Wow that sucks hard. Poor fans, poor Timo :( Must be some hard stuff if he got it back in the beginning of December and still didn't recover, but even got worse. I really hope he's better soon, would be a shame having to cancel even more shows.
The tour seems to be a little bit cursed, first Jörg, now this

Tickets for Mexico City now on sale :D I think I'll get mine this weekend... I was waiting to see if maybe a date for Guadalajara would be confirmed, since Helloween played here on their last 2 tours, but it doesn't look like it, so I guess I'm gonna have to make the trip.

how do you know it is not true? what's the reason of the cancelation then? well.. I'm kind of sad over this situation... I was getting excited already.

At least I've seen them twice :) and I even met the band

I think it is true, they started to sell the tickets, days later they release vip tickets limited to 20....LIMITED TO 20!??!? they sold out of course., then they came with this 2x1 offer ...what the fuck!? sell more VIPs!
that is bad marketing, not knowing your audience , the venue is also too small, too far (you cant just walk to the venue, you gotta go in car or bus, there is not metro whatsoever) and not good for a rock concert.
also, they had a good vibe from the fans in "concha acustica" I remember tolkki writing good stuff about caracas, why the hell they didnt choose the same venue!?
I didnt buy a ticket and thank god for this, chances are something would mess up that gig if it had happen.

It's more complex than that...

when bands agree on VIP packages, they ask show promoters to limit quantities to a strict number. If they didn't do this things could go out of control quite easily, specially in a country such as ours, where fans can get really intense. About the concha acústica: it worked pretty well before, but it is surrounded by a residential area, and the people who live around just got fed up of letting shows happen in there. I doubt we'll ever see another big show in there for many many years...

I feel the price was right for 2 bands, but the selected date was very unconvenient for the common Venezuelan. I don't like the CIEC for shows, but we don't really have many options here now.

I'm dissapointed but I'll survive: I bought my ticket ages ago, but I wasn't very stoked due to the fact that Strato weren't going to headline and that they were only going to play a 60-min show. Also, I've got the coolest fan video ever the last time I saw them live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yu9FfwmKvFA (the sound is crap, but what happened at 0:36 is priceless)

I just want my money back now :( those 600 would come handy right now, hahaha

I had a little hope none of this would happen, because I listened to the same kind of rumors when Sonata came and the concert did happen (the same promoters) so... I decided to get my ticket anyways... thinking it was just all lies!

 And didn't saw them the last time they came... so :fp:

And La Concha Acústica... is it still standing??? :crazy1: considering most of the venues in Caracas are kind of EWWWWWWWWWWW :err:
