Stratovarius Community

I feel that it would have been best calling it 'Return to Dreamspace' on it's own, not Project Strato, but as TT wrote 95% of all material I suppose it's not a crime

I wonder if the album will have the same 'sound' as Dreamspace did. As in the 'sad rush' that wikipedia describes. Or maybe it's more like one of the other first four albums. Either way, I cannot wait

Like the myspace page says, the album is tentatively titeled as "Project Strato". It does indeed sound rather like a working title and i guess it won't be their final solution.

I enjoy listening to the Dreamspace album of the past, and I hope the future Dreamspace will be just as cool!

According to the page it says that fans of both twilight time and Dreamspace will enjoy this.

No that is the final name of the project.

I think it's a title which gives fans a knowledge of who's doing it, it's enough like the original name so people know what it is however it's not in any way taking away from the members who are calling themselves Stratovarius.

I think it's going to be another win for this year.

At least it's not called Stratovarius, that would have been iffy in all cases. I mean it's a 'get together' album, so can't be harmful.

I think we the fans are winning in both cases, we're getting a new album from TK,JJ and JM, we have a new album from RR and we're getting another new album from the classic Strato line up, this is a kick ass year.

Oh well, Dreamspace is a great start

Let's just be happy with what we are getting, I mean we are already getting an overdose of kick ass this year, what with the new RR cd out, Polaris coming out and the Return to Dreamspace album coming out.

All the guys are running around ragged, let's not put them over the edge and kill them okay

Well since the mid 90's Iron maiden has been releasing an album once every three years and have stuck with that pattern since then. I mean they could wait till 2010, I was just assuming they'd stick with their pattern.

According to something I read on Blabbermouth the Album will be released in 2010. But we all know Blabbermouth...

Can we refer to the albums as Dreamspace I, and Dreamspace II? Or is that not acceptable? I wonder.

I'll just call them their names, Dreamspace and Return to Dreamspace.

What about the name Black Water????? The name they started off with even before naming Stratovarius!!!!!!

Dreamspace is a classic album. Often overlooked by fans but up there with Episode and Visions in terms of quality. I love the production, cold atmosphere and the music and lyric themes are dark and awesome.

Lassila's playing is powerful, top notch, vocals and guitars are great and the songwriting is inspired like nothing else at the time.

The title track is amazing, I have certainly identified to its lyrics too in the past

I won't comment on this Return to Dreamspace project, I kinda don't care about it but the original is a masterpiece.

Btw, Why don't they call it Stradivarius? No legal issues and readily identifiable. Not that I care lol.
