Way good!

I love this album! But specially, there's a song that ultimately is (for me) the most underrated song of Stratovarius of all time.

Thin Ice.

It gives me the chills! I found it amazing! Also in 5/4!!!

The most obscure, deepest and possibly least plastic of all the Strato albums. Just a great, personal landscape. And Tolkki's ambition, lungs and voice are so huge - back then he was, like, THE most anxious metal vocalist I ever heard. Somehow, I've never gotten the psychedelia in Thin Ice... I like Chasing Shadows, 4th Reich, We Are the Future and more commercial Abyss and Hold on to Your Dream much more... and I absolutely ADORE the title track! Bonechilling! Vibes like on this album cannot be felt in heavy metal anymore, because of overproduced sounds.

Tears of Ice is probably the saddest Stratovarius song, I almost cry every time I hear it.

I love the general atmosphere of this album. Dark, haunting, and obscure. "Abyss" is probably my fave song. The Helloween influences are a bit too obvious in places, though.
OMG, they fired Jari! Bastards!

The album had songs that you can't grow tired of.

(unless you play it 20 times a day and move on to the next album).

But I wish Tolkki could make a remake. Dreamspace is worth more than the other neo-Stratovarius albums.

Dreamspace is best album of Stratovarius, Twilight Time is second best. Atmosphere is so awesome on both albums. No need to fear Kotipelto's squeaking vocals ruining the feeling. I think the best songs from Dreamspace are probably 4th Reich, Shattered, Dreamspace, Thin Ice and Reign of Terror.
