Man, the years go by so fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I remember when these guys first got started as a supporting group then came into their own, exploding into popularity. Great success story these guys are!

In 15 years SA went from nothing to being one of the biggest prog-power bands around. I'm trying to think of what I have achieved in the last 15 years. This is depressing.

Surely you have great achievements to be proud of. 15 years of not getting laid must be a record!

Well, they'll be purposedly playing many old tracks, and will be longer shows. It's only natural they are using that old logo. I wonder if they'd go as far as use it for the next album, with all of Henkka's talk about having fast tracks (as fast as White Pearl, Black Oceans in the DVD).

About the bass player, I posted about it a couple months ago when Marko left the band.

And about the last 3 albums, well... I can only post a couple things :)

The Harvest
<object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="//www.youtube.com/v/dizN6pmO-t4?version=3 ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="//www.youtube.com/v/dizN6pmO-t4?version=3&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

From UNIA, it has my favorite Jani Liimatainen solo ever. It's also, I think, the best middle point between classic Sonata and Post-UNIA Sonata.

Deathaura
<object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="//www.youtube.com/v/H6qrREJizY8?version=3 ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="//www.youtube.com/v/H6qrREJizY8?version=3&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

The Days of Grays I think has very... well, gray tracks, but to deny Deathaura is an amazing track would be to lie. Liking it or not.

Cinderbox
<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="//www.youtube.com/v/B5sMAGrbYx0?hl=en_US& ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="//www.youtube.com/v/B5sMAGrbYx0?hl=en_US&amp;version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

Who doesn't like Cinderblox :(

Anyway, I think it's well known that if it says Sonata, I'm bound to be there.

Oh, also... we now have LA dates for this 15th Aniversay tour!

6 Mexico – Monterrey
7 Mexico – Mexicocity
9 Bolivia – La Paz

It's very hard to make me interested in SA these days, but I imagine these shows will be amazing. Sure, Days of Grays is mediocre and Stones Grow Her Name is pretty god awful but the band has managed to stay pretty good live. Especially during the Days of Grays tour, where for the second-leg in 2011 they only played a few Days tracks and mainly a lot of classic material.

Here's my ideal setlist:

Abandoned, Pleased, Brainwashed, Exploited
Apartment 54 (because it's the greatest thing ever)
Replica (possibly acoustic)
Shy (non-acoustic version)
My Land
The Ruins of My Life
Weballergy
Full Moon
My Selene (with Jani)
Kingdom For A Heart
My Dream's But a Drop of Fuel for a Nightmare
In Black and White
The Last Amazing Grays

Encore:
Caleb
The End of This Chapter
Don't Say A Word
Juliet

You can also throw Shitload Of Money in there for hilarity.

Yes, those will be nice probably, but still their setlists are far from good these days. I hope they play some rare stuff from earlier albums.

This would be very nice, actually almost exactly how I want it. Maybe want to drop The Last Amazing Grays and put Destruction Preventer somewhere. Whole Caleb saga thing is something I always wanted to see played.

My Perfect Setlist:

Main
- Prelude for a Reckoning
- Misplaced
- Blinded No More
- 8th Commandment (or Wolf & Raven)
- Broken
- My Land
- Blank File
- Sing in Silence
- Land of the Free
- Somewhere Close to You
- Caleb
- The Harvest
- The Power of One

Encore I
- Abandoned, Pleased, Brainwashed, Expoilted
- Champagne Bath
- Dream Thieves
- Wildfire
- White Pearl, Black Oceans

Encore II
- Deathaura
- Wrecking the Sphere
- The Cage/Vodka/Everything Fades to Gray

It's a bit too intense, I don't think they could play all of that... but still can dream about some of these.

Now... being realistic, I think the setlist will have some of this:

Almost for Sure
- FullMoon
- Replica
- Black Sheep
- Broken
- Don't Say a Word
- Last Amazing Grays
- Shitload O' Money
- One Song from New Album

This kindda hurts me because I think they should use this chance to play different tracks, not those usual stuff they always play nowadays...

Maybe Will Be Added
- Blank File
- My Land
- 8th Commandment
- Kingdom for a Heart
- The End of This Chapter (In some form)
- San Sebastian
- Wolf & Raven
- The Cage
- Victoria's Secret
- Blinded no More
- Shamandalie
- White Pearl, Black Oceans
- In Black and White
- Caleb
- The Vice
- Juliet
- The Dead Skin
- Flag in the Ground
- Losing my Insanity
- I Have a Right
- Cinderblox

Again, mostly tracks we've already listened to. It kindda worries me that they stick to so... "traditional" tracks.

Tracks I'd LOVE to hear, but don't really expect they'll play at all
- Destruction Preventer
- Land of the Free
- The Power of One
- Abandoned, Pleased, Brainwashed, Expoilted
- Champagne Bath
- Dream Thieves
- Misplaced
- Wildfire
- Wrecking the Sphere
- My Dream's But a Drop of Fuel for a Nightmare
- The Harvest
- Deathaura
- Somewhere Close to You

Songs I wish were out of the setlist for this particular tour
- FullMoon
- Black Sheep
- Don't Say a Word
- Replica

I like them all, to a different extent each, but I've heard them live SO MANY TIMES, they are on the live DVD's, and I just think they should open spots for more rare songs.

From this tour, one of the best live renditions of My Land I've heard!

I love how the song takes stuff from the 1999 version as well as the 2006 version, and kindda make it perfect!
