Destiny gold award presented to Timo Tolkki

Post by Vaarius » Sun Mar 02, 2014 4:31 pm

Hi all Stratovarius collectors!
I'm the owner of the Destiny gold award (20,000 copies sold in Finland 1998) which is presented to Timo Tolkki! This award is the only copy that Timo had. He gave it to her daughter who then sold it to a Finnish music memorabilia store and I bought it from there a couple of years ago. It is in great condition and VERY rare and one of a kind item as you surely understandand. I'm now considering to sell it to another Stratovarius fan/collector. If you are seriously interested in buying it, please contact me by email: ababa (at) Wippies.com

It's the real deal, so be serious now guys. The whole story about how Timo gave the award to his daughter who later sold it away is well documented in a finnish rock magazine called "Soundi" I've also an e-mail from Timo where he confirms that this is the only copy of the award presented to him. So if you want to make fun of it, go ahead. From now on I'm only gonna answer to serious Stratovarius collectors.

We're going to have to see some pictures and some other sort of proof about the authenticity of the item you're speaking about. Sorry, but anyone can come on an online forum and claim anything they want...

I guess for a valid answer, you'll have to specify if you want a TT-worn and unwashed, a TT-worn but washed, a TT-unworn but washed or a TT-unworn and unwashed one ???

I always wondered who that Rantanen guy was. His writing style was absolutely hilarious.

Yes, I remember it was 999 euros too. It was for sale at their Huuto.net page. Don't remember if that was the final price.
