Stratovarius playing Wacken Open Air

Post by Ti7aNiC-23 » Mon Dec 01, 2014 10:18 pm

THANK YOU! :)

Oh my god I'm so excited. It's been a life goal of mine for over a decade to attend WOA and I'm finally going in 2015. Stratovarius is a golden cherry on top of this dream festival for me.

I flew from Yellowknife, NT to Montreal, QC just to attend the concert on September 13th. It was such a small venue - a very intimate concert. And now I get to see Stratovarius play to over 80,000 people. :D

Any other big fans going to WOA?

I don't know if I'd be able to endure all that grunting just to see Strato

2015 was sold out before WoA 2014 even happened. I guess I'll just wait for them to come back to NYC like a good little boy

Northwest Territories. https://goo.gl/maps/9H6Ew
I live in the middle of nowhere - 15 hours drive to Edmonton, AB which is the nearest big city.

Hey everyone,

I was literally front-center with a group of awesome Germans. I was the guy in the front with the Cape Breton Island Canada flag (green/white). The show was incredible and I'm 90% sure there was a private film crew there as well so a DVD is likely in the future.

Here's a few of my photos from the show. I was very close. I think being so close actually takes something away from the photos as you cannot experience the immensity of the crowd behind me. Here you go!
