Visions is great! It's one of the best Stratovarius songs ever, and it has the same title of the best album! But even Black Diamond, Destiny and Forever are good choices!!

I'd like to listen some strato-instrumental like stratosphere, stratovarius or a medley of all strato-instrumental songs !!! it could be very exciting and melodic, but I think Night Time Eclipse could be beautiful, they never played it in a gig. Also Twilight Symphony could be a good ending song, don't you think?

I was listening to Mother Gaia, geez, that's a beautiful song, and i tought that they could finish with something like Black Diamond, Destiny, Visions or something and then Mother Gaia, (as a background music) to say goodbye to the stratofans, the ending of that song is really melodic and expresive, it would be awesome

Forever or Destiny for sure. It could be that even the band members would have a tear on theyr eyes when they play that last song.

I hope they will play a big couple of Songs from all era.
They should record this concert and release it as their last record.
Or does someone believe that Timo K will join Strato again, after all this? I don#t believe it. Strato is dead.
I hope that Timo T will carry on and release a solo record with the "popkiller" songs.

Maybe Tolkki knows all this......and this is precisely what he is planning. I'm no mind reader, but this would be a virtually painless way(for him)to get rid of Strato, and all the baggage of the past few months.
THEN, he can start a new band, under a new name, with MissK and a new band and no one will be able to justifiably criticise him.

They WON'T fade away......us fans will not let them.

We have our CDs, DVDs, pics, memories of this forum,concerts, and our T-shirts.....al that Stato stood for is within our hearts,soul, and mind. Well, it seems on those shows they played at the end: Forever, Black Diamond, Destiny.

Usually, they play BD at the end of their gigs, but the last 2 shows it was Destiny.
I think that is a subliminal sign of the end, I'm sorry to say.

I hipe Stratovarius does not end in their July gig AND
They go to a great stuido and record a great cd, to prove the world they are "back"

Till this day, the last song I ever heard them play was Visions, which is also a song that has been on my list of favorite Stratosongs ever since I first heard it.

Yes, Liberty would be a good song... but My Black Diamond and Destiny are great choices too.

Black Diamond, for reasons other than the fact that this most popular song completes every show, is most likely the best choice. The lyrics make so much sense...too much sense, for this situation.

For me DESTINY is the perfect song from Stratovarius !!!
I also Love WE HOLD THE KEY, GALAXIES, DREAM WITH ME, VENUS IN THE MORNING, MORTHER GAIA, ETERNITY, COMING HOME, etc.......

I was just thinking--INFINITY would be a good last song, too for symbolic reasons. Us StratoFans will remember&be faithful to the memory of Stratovarius Forever/Infinity!

But, yes, Destiny would be THE best, seriously, to express the emotions of the fans.

Maybe a MEDLEY of about 6 songs could be done:
Black Diamond, Keep the Flame, Destiny, Infinity, Forever, and Soul of a Vagabond.

Ther are many combinatins like that. I have ben studying Strato's Lyrics the past few days, and without a doubt, TT is one of the best songwriters out thee today. Him&Dave Mustaine write the most emotional songs--and these guys have so much in common-their personal lives/events/tragedies are so similar its scary. And it goes beyond just the rockstar lifestyle.. I hope they meet someday---Seriously, I think they would have lots to discuss......

Yeah, I know Mustaine had problems in the past, but fortunately he found the light in his life and now is doing great! Way to go!
