European football: let's try again!

Post by Luca » Wed Jun 23, 2004 11:57 am

I posted a new topic, I didn't mean to create an "hooligan" movement against scandinavia ;) ;)

So let's try again, I hope that the one that insulted sweden and denmark people, with his "fuck you" attitude (and, men, he's from Sicily  ) thinks twice before doing it again!

So, I write this to express my opinion about the match SWE-DEN and about other teams too. I think, and it's my opinion, that Denmark agreed with Sweden for the 2-2 and this is not fair, though italians are the first masters of non-fair play... in everything.
At first I just thought that it was casual, but after I saw all those clear goal occasions for Denmark failed shooting the ball high, out or slow and seeing the faces of the players very normal after those clear occasions, I thought it was strange. Then I saw the last goal action and that was clear: they made the cake! Anyway, it's all right, because italy in the same situation would have done the same.... It's a shame for scandinavian fair-play, but Totti's spit is even worse, and we deserve to exit. No insult is admitted... hava a good day, and good work to Liina :)

I watched the game and thought it was a good match. The first thing that leaped to mind after the game was " now starts the `made game' accusations" indeed they did.

Which makes it even sadder that they have to take to such desperate measures such as accusing the other teams of cheating. Just admit you weren't the better team this time around and be done with it. Sheesh.
If you can't stand to lose, you shouldn't be playing in the first place.

No italian has said that we deserved to pass to the next turn . We are the first to say that our team sucked hard , but
it 's clear and bright like the sun that Denmark and Sweden cheated. In Italy we use to say "losing your face" that means "cut a poor figure" . Italy would have been eliminated the same but these nordic civilized teams have cut a poor figure

Of course I am. I'm not the one attacking a Danish consulate over such a trivial matter as a football game.

i don´t know what the big deal of it...Italy played crap. They didn´t deserve to be on the quaterfinals...
So what if SWE vs DEN game was tied...they have a huge rivalry in sports, if you folks don´t know...close to Argentina and Brazil...and to give you a picture...if Argentina offered a payment to all our debts towards F.M.I, still we wouldn´t let them tie.

It was really great to see those "2-2 = Nordic Victory" posters in the audience during the Denmark - Sweden game :D

Italy out = good, Germany out = Even better! :D

I hope Denmark wins. Even when I don't care really much about football. It's mainly really boring and I bet every player must attend to somekind of acting/stunt school to learn how to fly and fall down when the wind touches you slightly.

I thought the same thing.... i saw the match, and i'm 90% sertain that it wasnt arranged. only one of the goals looked a bit easy to score(the second goal by (Tomasson). But his firs goal was a beauty. Italy is only bad loosers. they always have an excuse for not going to the next level.
And as the dude starting this topic said, Italy is not exactly a fair play team. They cheat 50% of every match. Italy did not deserve to go on to the next level because they didnt play good in this tournament.
Sweden and Denmark both had a lot of chances and played on a wet field where it's hard to control the ball. if it was better weather i'm sure there would have been more goals in the match.

Football doesn't suck.
I saw the game, and I really hoped that Italy wouldn't get to the next round. And they didn't!
But the only thing that makes me furious, is that when Italy didn't make it, reason for that was (of course) was in Sweden and Denmark. They playd well, Italy sucked big time.
and the only thing that Italy can do is that LOOK IN THE MIRROR!
and in some interwiew, Del Piero said, that Italy was better than Sweden or Denmark, so if Italy was better why didn't Italy won these two teams?
