In acoustic gigs they used to play Here I Go Again, Whitesnake, and I really would love to have the chance to see Koti singing it. Surely it's great. Scorpion's Still Lovin' You would be nice too.

There're some songs that would get really cool in a metal way. See "Take on Me" A-ha song, played by Vision Divine with Fabio Lione... I loved that song. I also like the songs that Blind Guardian recorded, like "Mr. Sandman" and "Surfin' USA". :D

Nops! I'd like to hear that! I love ABBA... :D I'll look for it. Thnk you!
:)

I also like a Cindy Lauper song called "Change of Heart"... yeah, I know... that's tacky, but that song would get really nice with fast drums and a stronger voice. :headbang:

@Terska: I'm a big AC/DC fan, I listen to them since I'm 8 years old... I'd love to hear Koti singing my fave songs, as Money Talks.. that song would fit perfectly in his voice. :D

yeah, Strato playing The Show Must Go On would have a strong meaning in those days... How about Koti's voice singing Stairway to Heaven, that would be amazing :)

Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd. A masterpiece if I ever heard one. That would be perfectly outstanding :D Or why not Shy by Sonata Arctica, it would sound great with drums and some more energic guitars and keys.

I saw this Queen tribute on television a while ago, when I still HAD a television. Liza Minelli totally ruined that song for me. *shudders*

Hello everyone!

I'm new to the boards and so I can't start new topics.

Anyway, I want to let everyone know that I own the following account:

stratovarius@gmail.com

And... Because I already have my own Gmail account, I'm willing to sell it. If you don't know what Gmail is, it is the new Google approach to email, which gives you ONE GIGABYTE of storage. Go to gmail.google.com for more about Gmail. It is currently available by invitation only, because it is in Beta stage. So having a Gmail account is not that easy, and now all of you have the opportunity to own one, with the name of your favorite band in it.

If you're interested, send an email to that same address (stratovarius@gmail.com). I accept Paypal only. Believe me, the price is cheap. I might even accept $10 bucks, or $5 bucks! And you're getting a VERY hard to get email service, with 1GB of storage so you never have to delete any single email again. Besides, the interface is great and there is no SPAM. So, if anyone is interested, mail away!

Thanks a lot, and I look forward to continue posting in this community!

Haha, I tried to joke about doing death metal in an interview with Kotipelto, but I don't think he realized I was kidding, and he was like "No, my voice can't do that..." Ahh jeez.

I'd like to hear them cover something totally random. I can't think of what yet. Some 50s songs or something.

I think Stratovarius should record more cover songs, for example: Iron Maiden songs (Aces high, Afraid To Shoot Strangers, Wasted Years, Phantom Of The Opera...), one or two Helloween songs (A Tale That Wasn't Right or March Of Time), some Scorpions songs other than Blackout (Still Loving You, Another Piece Of Meat, Is There Anybody There?, Alien Nation, or Coming Home)...

Plus, they should record in studio those covers which have been played in gigs but have never been recorded in studio, I mean: Here I Go Again (by WhiteSnake) and Temple Of The King (by Rainbow, specially this one).
