Stratovarius Community

I listened to the new album once through so far and I gotta say it sounds fantastic. A departure compared to the old stuff, but I think it is really great. Lets be honest, Elements 1 wasn't great and 2 was appalling. This I think will stand in the top 5 Stratovarius albums ever for me.

I can't agree on Elements being better than twilight, I know it's just opinion, but I felt that ELements 2 was so bad.

I voted for Hands of Time , but Out of the Shadows is just as good. Those two songs are 10/10 and are possibly my favourite Stratovarius songs.

Well, I'm listening to it now... first thoughts..... an underated gem of an album. THe songs... Hands of Time and Out of the Shadows are among Stratovarius's best EVER songs I think and would definately be on a 'best of' cd if I created one. What do others think??

Favourite Stratovarius album people!

Mine has to be a tie between Episode and Infinite with Fourth Dimension just behind.

Elements 2 is the real stinker I think, a poor album.

I like Tuomo Lassila. I dunno why, but he looks cool in the booklet of the 4th dimension, and I like his style of drumming.

Well I have all of Stratovarius's albums and until today, hadn't listened to them in a while. BUt today I cracked on Infinite, and I have to say, it's one of the best metal albums ever made, its fantastic. I am gonna play Stratovarius cds for the next few days and think to myself that Stratovarius ...

I am lucky and don't get badly depressed, but I can't imagine anything worse than listening to Sentenced!!! Thats the most depressing music ever. They just really spoiled wacken for me when i Saw them!!!!! my gf wanted to watch them.......
