well, i think that if the band components like koti or jens were happier, the chemestry between then and tolkki would be better and that way they would made better albuns....tolkki is a genious, but the point is, koti is not his friend anymore, since a long time, and thats the reason why strato neve...

kotipelto made black diamond together with tolkki, music and lyrics...tolkki is a far better composer than koipelto but i think that koti should at least write some of the lyrics, and thats not happening since visions. He writes only the smaller parts of the songs

it may be to early but im very disapointed...look at visions or episode....kotipelto and johansson made some of the music and together with tolkki made those increadible albuns...tolkki is a genious and he made the best strato songs, but when he does all the material it sounds something predictable ...

i thought timo was a little bit opened to other musicians material....timo kotipelto said he was back on the band because tolkki promised he would have more of his songs on the next album, but i guess that was a lie...to bad, it semms the band has lost its way once again....im not gonna be surprised...

lauri can play anything, hes an execelent musician whyle jari is an execelent bass player with an higher technique...jari reminds me of those prog metal bands bass players....he kicks ass

theres not much melody, i agree, but thats what make dragonforce an unique band....if they played just like other melodic/power bands, they would never reach the sucess they are having now...and all of them are execelents musicians...maybe zp theart is not a god singer, but the rest of the band kick...

for strato music i prefer nylon...but sometimes tolkki uses both...its kinda weird...

sonata artica sounded just a copy of strato in the first two albuns...not anymore

and i think that the speed he plays doesnt make less feling on his music...but thats just my opinion

well...feeling is something very personal...its just how an individual fells about the playng style of someone...i do prefer timo , and think that there are lots of other better guitar players in a musical way, but realy, technicaly, herman kicks a lot of asses, and ive tried to play some of his stu...

the first 3 albuns are amazing....better then infinity, elements pt2 and the last album defnetely. The dvd of the elements album that never came out had a mix of various old songs...about 15 minutes plaiyng...amazing...hope some day that show will be released

with all my respect to kiske, kotipelto and bruce dickinson...but jorn is the best...in the melodi c metal scenery masterplan is best band around since the other good bands are on "strange times". Listen to aeronautics and u guys will know what im talking about...

i´ve heard from a friend of mine that he has made a video playng some leoric scales in alternate picking...he says its quite fast...does anyone knows about it?

the album is ok because its something new in theyr carreer ...but it shouldnt be repeated cause it doesnt have a song that u can say...oh my god..this is something unbeliavable....but it has good songs like maniac dance and fight

great news....hope the next album come back with double bass songs...this rock opera will be intersting...hope it will be even better than avantasia
