Re: What should Stratovarius call their next album?
" The Curtains are Falling ". It ain't going to be the "next" album, it'll be the final one for sure. Though I like the idea of bringing Lassila and Ikonen for this final goodbye. I hope it will be as beautiful as the albums of the golden era (1994-2001), and not as pessimistic as both "Elements" (o...

Re: Finnish press: Hitler song postponed!
here (argentina) there are small groups of people called skinheads that are more or less like nazis i think that in the rest of the world too... Oh yes, may be sure, there is a LOT of skinheads here in Russia. Some amount even in my city, though their activity here is subtile for Siberia is a multi...

Re: Finnish press: Hitler song postponed!
After watching " Hitler: the Rise of Evil " I've got a sense that Hitler's blame for all that happened was not that serious as everyone used to think. Then after analyzing several other histories similar to the Hitler's (Stalin, Lenin, Mussolini, Mao Tse-tung) I can say that the whole process of dow...

Maybe true, maybe not. Time will tell. Time only time will tell If there'll be heaven or hell Time only time will tell If there'll be heaven or hell They absolutely can work on some new material. There is enough of time has already passed and Timo feels much better now, seems that they have buried ...

The end? No-o-o ... Remember:
Like the Phoenix I rise
From the ashes of life
I don't need fortune or fame
Just some peace of mind
Just give Timo some time to get back to himself!!!

Re: Elements part1, worst album, except Fright Night ?
I don't like both Elements because they were written when Timo was already in the state of deep affect. I really don't like the blasphemous notes of "Hymn to Life" that can be heard there. I hate blasphemy. One should be really delusioned to call God "plastic". May be Timo was raised in a too devout...

Are Antti Ikonen and Tuomo Lassila dancers? here is written that they write a Dance Choreographie or something This Project has the title "Sinne missä sataa" http://www.danceinfo.fi/tanka/database/teokset/teosViewForm?teos_id=2547&eng=1 It was pretty long ago, in 1994. To finish the set, I can poin...

Re: Antti Ikonen
Found some info from September 1998 ( link ): Antti Ikonen released a solo MCD with some of his newer keyboard material. His new material isn't metal, it is somewhat ambient music. He has also played in a band called "Juhlavammat Juhlavammat" and they have released a couple of CDs. ... (Antti) was a...

Re: Tuomo Lassila
No, Tuomo no longer plays in Conquest. Tim Fleetwood is their drummer now. Possibly he's left the band after their first album "Rage". Seems that he doesn't play in any band now, but interesting that I've found some evidence of that he played in Firefall and Tekniikan Ihmeet ( http://www.tartareande...

Re: which album is the best???
Ever heard an Opeth album? :D Bluha-a-a-a-r-r-r-rdh!!! I don't think it's a music at all. All that Burzum-Borknagar is killing me, even Satyricon, Bal-Sagoth and of that kind. I listen to metal for a long time already but still feel it's not my kind of music, not my philosophy. Strange that I, bein...

Re: which album is the best???
My God! Only NOT Elements! It was exacly that time when Tolkki became totally crazy after the known grievous incident. Both Elements are soaking-wet with endless depression, not to mention "Hymn to Life"! I'd better call it "Hymn to Self-destruction"! Thank Goodness Tolkki's worst time seems is behi...

Re: What kind of keyboards or piano do you have??
CASIO CTK-691. Not a big time but sounds cool enough for my modest demands. Plus Hohner recorder, a no-name classic guitar and a Sennheiser E835 mike. Plus my ability to turn nothing into something at least unusual
