Woah, thanks for all the tips! I've seen some drum-instruction movies and yes, they are pretty good. But it's one thing to look at someone doing something and a completely different thing to do it yourself. I'm trying to get influences from all kinds of music now, so I'll be able to vary my drumming...

But they have never come to America! And now our dreams will come true. I will see them performing at Studio Seven in Seattle in October. I still can't believe this is going to happen. Wow, I really hope that nothing goes wrong and they indeed perform there. :) I've seen them twice! They are awesom...

When you hear very fast bass-drum, it's certainly double. It indeed adds power but when you have 32th bass drums from the beginning to the end of the song/album it also adds a lot of boredom. I'm a drummer myself and I use double-pedals alot. I'm pretty sure that a good drummer with technique and lots of endurance can learn how to play double-pedals pretty fast. It isn't that hard. :P If you're about to play some fast songs, why not just start slow and build up the tempo? In that way the...
