Record companies take from artists FAR more than they give - but, for the most part, like the "buying public ...

I'll agree with StragOvarius - as a matter of fact, I just bought the Infinite Visions DVD :D There are very few artists that I will just buy a CD of unheard (and that's no knock on any band - but even the best can have an "off" release).

Fans will always support the bands they love.

I'm just wondering how the band feels about playing the smaller club gigs here in the States when they're usually known for playing large stadiums and open air festivals all over Europe?

Personally, I don't like any large venue shows (won't go to shows at Verizon Amphitheatre, Rose Bowl, etc ...

Well, speaking as one of the few from the States, I really HATE moshing, except in "designated" areas. I got my nose broken at a WASP show last year (courtesy of a stupid drunk), but when I saw WASP this year (at a different House Of Blues this time), the show and the crowd were great!

I don't know ...

Also, if you're going, call the club to buy your tickets! You can save the extra $8-$10+ "service charge" per ticket that TicketMaster charges. The club only charges a $2 service charge for a total of $32 per ticket.

I understand that, Stratoplayer, but you could also have bought USED copied of the CDs and the band wouldn't have seen a penny of those sales either.

My opinion is that FANS will keep a band going, non-fans will not. Non-fans are just that - and they wouldn't have spent any money in the first place ...
