Savatage 25th Anniversary!!

First Kamelot show, so psyched!!

Not crazy about these guys although I respect the talent- outstanding players.

The songs leave me kind of bored- Alive in Athens was just dull to me.

For powermetal my fav is Zandelle- better songs, more singalong and too the point.

I also love Ripper, Beyond Fear is a mod band with a great vibe.

If you want that title, you are WELCOME to it, lol.

Just caught the last show on the Spread Eagle tour at Don Hill's in NYC.

Unbelievable!

I didn't know what to expect but boy did this band deliver.

2 of my fav players onstage at the same time, very cool.

Johnnymac's drum solo was one of the best I have ever seen.

Anyone else catch shows on this ...

They are unbelievable live, seen them several times.

Wish they still did Battle Angels (sp?) old Sanctuary tune.

Does anyone know of any good prog-metal internet radio stations?

I know Seismic was good for a while and I just found Metal Massacre which is a lot of fun.

Wondering what else is out there and what the links are?

I love talking about bands and their shows.

I grew up with 4 older brothers and they all played in a variety of groups.

I definitely got hooked at a young age and it's kind of nostalgic for me to get excited about going to gigs again.
