Hey all thought i'd come back and give my thoughts on Polaris. Haven't been on here for about 6 -7 months as Stratovarius and power metal in general just isn't my favourite type of music anymore, i'm more into the folk metal thing now. Not a fan of Dragonforce and even less so since I spoke to one of the guitarists and he said he hates Stratovarius and power metal which I found rather odd.

Not what I was expecting Jens. I like it.

Possibly not able to sell stratovarius stuff because of the name legal issue.

Doubt it will be as it was, as I doubt the band will be called stratovarius anymore. Maybe once we here some proper official band news and all that lark.

Exactly! That was the first Edguy album I bought, it kinda put me off them at the time as I also thought it was a 'Rock' album not a 'Power metal' album. Maybe I might give them one more try one day.
