It is because there has been some very significant RR news lately, and fans of both bands know that people can speak much more freely in this place than in any place Timo Tolkki moderates.icecab21 wrote:4 out of 5 of the top on the stratovarius forum are about RR.

Re: revolution renaissance website!
The only problem that I have when I read through the bio of RR, is that again the description shows it as Tolkki's band. It says all the time things like TTs legacy in Strato, 95% songwriting, continuing his legacy, and so on. If it really goes that way, RR might face such problems like Stratovariu...

Re: Work in progress II
That 'Harvester' is just the same asshole as 'Mörkö'. People who just play with our brains, saying extremely stupid things, the truth is on the table, THERE ARE double bass drums, speed, solos, and no Jame Labrie  .........maybe WARMEN stuff!!! I am a different asshole than Harvester. I ...

Re: RR Forum
I can now confirm that "Harvester" in the Revolution Renaissance forum is Timo Tolkki posting under an alias. It is not easy to understand why he is doing this. It could be an attempt to get some attention again, and create rumors. Then he can also later say: haha, don't believe all the false things...

Re: RR Forum
I don't believe that about RR members being fired, either. If those guys were fired it must've happened in the past few days? ??? Maybe Morko will let us know something. Sorry, I know nothing about this. It looks like Mike Khalilov logged in to the RR forum after this was posted, and didn't delete ...

Re: Upcoming Revolution Renaissance tour close to be cancelled?
I want to hire that promoter. That man will take people places. The latest word is that the situation was quite chaotic, and they have fired the Incartaz promoter, and are trying to set up a tour instead with the help of a guy called Eric de Haas. He is much more experienced but he will have a very...

Re: Upcoming Revolution Renaissance tour close to be cancelled?
Well, you were wrong about RR bass player. Yet, you are right (according to info from Kotipelto) when it comes to the Reunion album being BS. You were also right about Tolkki being banned. 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Get this one right&maybe people will know you are creditable! :bigok: For some time the ...

Re: Upcoming Revolution Renaissance tour close to be cancelled?
I hope that kind of rumors would stop someday:) They are pointless, in my humble opinion. Even if they are true, they just hurt or generate a bad atmosphere on something it really doesn't need to have one. I try to read everything I can about Timo and nothing is revealing "RR" is disbanded, or inac...

Re: new band name
More of short a term desperate and emotional fling than a logical system of action. Desperate may be a good word. I am sure Tolkki was not happy to do what he did. From the summer festivals on YouTube, tk does not sing with consistant controll, did he always have this or was this a newer thing? It'...

Re: new band name
There is no logic whatsoever towards tolkki doing what he did with a prime purpose of short term monetary gain over a long term purpose of personal happiness. The basic fact is that tolkki gets more money in stratovarius then by starting a new band. In stratovarius he gave everyone an even share. I...

Re: who could replace Tolkki
thats not sarcasm, the guy is a awsome guitar player. i just like melodic rock more than those boogy guitar pieces. the last part of that 3rd video is perfect guitar playing and i hope they do more stuff like that than the low tuned not so melodic stuff or the scales of boogy The new Stratovarius w...

Re: Where is mr Tolkki????
He’s almost asking for the guys to put out a comedy album and fuck around with the name then sell it on eBay. Still he gave the name away; I would have kept something that means that much to me. I happen to know what the direction the new material is taking, and believe me when I say the "new Strat...

Re: Where is mr Tolkki????
TT: You cant really compare one album to their situation in which they are continuing the band with most likely many years as Stratovarius. I am just demonstrating my point with one album and by definition a following courtcase that the idea of continuing as Stratovarius is morally wrong to me. And...

It should also be mentioned that tolkki has only made about 2 comments in the last week. There are a lot of questions with 0 replies. Even if morko is right, morko sure missed with the Bjorn bass player credible source thing so morkos sources are not always accurate Mörkö's sources are very much in...

Re: Stratovarius R... R... DEMO
RR demos Jörg Michael and rest of the Stratovarius 2007 line up.
RR record had Mirka Rantanen on drums and Pasi Heikkilä on bass. Most likely Timo Tolkki did the keyboards himself and used a made up a name for a keyboard player on the RR record ("Joonas Puolakka")

Re: Where is mr Tolkki????
hence my sort of problem with trusty sources. there is no goldenworks. its goldenworks ky. ok maybe that was nitpicky lol. I was a bit unclear; anyway Tolkki has no studio of his own any more that could be bankrupt. All of the studio equipment from the "Goldenworks studio" now belongs to Sonic Pump.

@Morko, there is a serious rumor afloat that TTs studio, Goldenworks, is bankrupt. Do you have any info about this? ??? It seems that the person states why tollki is not credible but then never explains why the source that they use is credible. I think that’s hypocritical Your expectations from ...
