Wintersun's The Forest Seasons is a must if you haven't listened to it yet.
I will assume you have listened to all DT's albums, especially when MP was in the band.

Re: Timo Tolkki's Avalon Pt. 3 and tour
Won't believe it until I see an album released. Even then I can't imagine it being "good". TT peaked decades ago and releasing a good album will be an outlier. If he produces something similar to Episode then I will definitely be interested. Right...what is the last great album by TT. Elements Part...

Whenever I want to study or just chill I listen to Halo sountracks. Martin O'Donnell did such a terrific job at making the ost so iconic.
I think this and F-Zero are the reason why I follow metal.

Anyone owns a Nespresso? I don't want to spend money on the pods but apparently it's a good product.
That video was interesting. The time I had 5+ cups of coffee I felt I was going to pass out. I limit myself to 3/day now at the most.

I do hope the relationship lasts though.

I give my tip of the hat for those who come here occasionally. Most of my work involves working online/computer so I just have easy access to stratoforum. I also have no life.
This forum is in its waning days, that's for sure. I definitely want to be here the day this forum dies.

Ask him any vague question and rather than trying to answer it to the extent of his abilities, he will dismiss it under philosophical grounds. Example: "Why do you use X kind of guitar?" might be met with an answer like "I never ask 'Why' in my life." This was definitely a theme in the book h...

I've had trouble finding the blonde roast. The last few times I've been there they were always out. I can't remember the last time I've been to a Starbucks (maybe last year?). I like to spend a bit extra and go to Einstein Bagels or Bruegger's Bagels and get a quick, filling breakfast. How Speech to...

Re: Coffee
I don't know if I said this before but the reason they roast their beans extensively is because it gets rid of the water content, making the coffee lighter and therefore able to import more quantity and pay less. It does make their coffee taste like shit, which is why most of their drinks contain hi...

 To be honest at that time I was starting to diverge from the bullshit my parents said about religion. Now I don't attend church, but I still think Jesus was cool. Momo and David were cool dudes, too. I don't believe in the afterlife, or reincarnation, or whatever spiritual stuff people tend to...

I was a young teenager when I first listened to Tolkki's music. I can state that his push for common sense and peace through his lyrics helped me define my thoughts growing up. I once asked him what's his favorite book, and he recommended me to read The Road Less Traveled. At that time, it was my ag...

Do you think that the decrease is due to self-isolation? Or is it because most of the weak elders have passed away and now there are not as many to infect? According to projections in the USA, these will be the most miserable weeks. I think there are still cities that need to peak. I don't think it ...

That was pretty spot on. Don't forget the drama with Revolution Renaissance and how Tolkki didn't "play" guitars in Trinity.
Ah, I just remembered. Did he ever give away his guitar? I feel like he didn't.

China's economy will get hit. A good portion of its income comes from the production of goods, which heavily depends on western demand. USA's guidelines are complete horse shit. It's all down to the individual states. We have a stay-at-home order, but there are still people who need to go out and wo...

The great schism of 2008 and what followed was one of the best soap opera dramas I've witnessed in my life. The constant back-and-forth, the trolling, and the abrupt turn of events were all magnificent. The release of Polaris was the cherry on top, proving that the band can still produce without its...

Practicing social distancing. Good thing I had years of training leading up to it.
I am disappointed that I can no longer get my $9.00 pint from the bar. I have to resort to a $9.00 six pack now.

I only eat taco bell once every other month at the most. McDonalds probably once a month.
I haven't had KFC in 8 years. Popeyes and Chick-fil-a taste better imo.
Cava brought a "healthy" competition vs Chipotle.

Can also be that you're not used to the food. Logically, hygiene in street shops is unheard of.
Taco bell can give me massive diarrhea. I can't fathom what street food burrito would do to me.
Yet, I still eat it because mex food is amazing.
