Re: Timo Kotipelto sings in an album for Children

bin shares the same purpose as can, but in fact he sings bin. It's a small bin, instead of a big trash can.

Re: Timo Kotipelto sings in an album for Children

I don't know if i got all the lyrics right, cuz quite frankly I can't figure what he's trying to sing in one part. Anyway, rough translation:

Finnish: "tuokaa mulle ruokaa, ootan teidän kompostilastia, Ronnie James biojäteastia, jätteet maatuva mättö, ritareista on korkeinta kastia Ronnie James ...

Re: STRATOVARIUS Interview 17/05/09 Matias Kupiainen & Laur

Thanks for clearing that up :)
Does it sound like it has two T's when you pronounce the name in Finnish? Like "mATTias" (with emphasis on the first syllable).

Not really, the first syllable is hard and the T is just...normal. Listen to the way this woman says it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v ...

Re: Timo/ Matias acoustic in TV2 (Finland), Deep Unknown links

I just put the TV on like half an hour ago and saw Timo and Matias playing "Winter Skies" acoustically. Only saw like the last minute and a half, but it sounded really good! Hopefully the video can be found online!

Just to add one thing to the pronounciation of Matias' name. It's absolutely NOT Mat-eye-as. But it's not either exactly the same as in Norway or other nordic countries. In Finland we say it Ma-tee-as, tee like....like Earl Grey tea. But one thing, the emphasis is on the FIRST syllable. So it's MA ...

Timo and Matias are apparently playing on "Ne Salmiset" on monday 18th may.

http://www.propromotion.fi/2009/04/29/stratovarius-esilla-tvssa/

it says there that the TV2 thing was just supposed to be an interview and they will be playing as a duo on Ne Salmiset, which is a show where people ...

I don't think so. People don't perform on that show. It's just like a top 10 music show with small interviews now and then.

I'm watching it while I write this. I don't know if you can see it outside of Finland.
