There was no Topic for them and they definately deserve one so... Excalion is a young Finnish band playing Melodic / Power Metal. Their first album Primal Exhale was just some demos and such re-recorded but the second album Waterlines was pure metal masterpiece. They left out the power metal cliche...

While in Stratovarius TK had his solo albums, Jens appeared in sooo many albums, Lauri his collaborations and solo career... And Jorg, well, he played in countless bands! But we always got Stratovarius albums, gigs, and whatever. Kotipelto finished the recordings just few weeks before Stratovarius ...

I was one of the lucky ones who have been able to see Stratovarius in Manchester, where I bought my long awaited copy of Polaris and as the saying goes "All good comes to those who wait" I must admit I was a bit anxious about how the band would develop after the split, but all worries were unfounded...
