Re: About the tone of the songs
Sorry but Kotipeltos voice is very lacking in the higher department the last couple of years. It sounds super bad and I get anxious in advance listening to him singing higher songs. Everyone here knows it and most people probably thinks alike but don't want to say it because we of course are huge St...

Re: Kotipelto on drums!! :D
Well, the guy in video definitely has nothing to do with Kotipelto :D But it is true that Kotipelto did study drums before his singing career. What even many Finnish people don't know is that his drum teacher back then was a guy called Jussi Lampi who since then has made a succesful career as an ac...

Re: New album "Elysium", Jan 12 2011. Single on Nov 26
Yeah I like his vocals too, but the vocal lines could've been more creative. In many old strato songs I noticed the vocal melodies bring the song forward and the music is accompaning. At least in verse/chorus The difference with Gather the faithful imo, is basically that there were awesome songwriti...

Re: New album "Elysium", Jan 12 2011. Single on Nov 26
Hmm, in all honesty I'm pretty disappointed. Sure the musicianship is awesome but I lack good songwriting. Infernal maze is good songwriting, but alot of the songs are just so-so imo. Rewashed power metal stuff without any really memorable melodies/choruses etc. I like move the mountain though, a gr...

Stratovarius is one of Daniel Radcliffe's favourite bands.
From D. Radcliffe's IMDB profile:
"Some of his favorite music groups are Stratovarius (Finland), Huey Lewis and The News (USA), and Tom Robinson (England)."

Thanks! I never heard that song before lol
Actually it's a pretty kick ass song, I'm impressed by Jens Johansson who wrote it.

Re: TT/RR concerts in São Paulo
I think it’s negative to say "I thinks it's a lousy idea, why is he doing this?". The fact that you refuse to believe tolkki if he says that he wants to do it, or that he enjoys doing it is also a negative reaction. Why ask the question if you already think that tt hates it and no one wants to see ...

Um Tolkki is very technical though lolKeyssion wrote:I think that Matias is technically better than Timo. I still mostly like Timo's solos better Especially the very emotional ones!
I think TT is better than Matias overall, but he has a more creative style
