A sad day
Even though it happened on June 18,2008 and no one here most likely has heard of him, I have just learned of the passing of one of my favorite drummers, Jake Meyer from the new wave band Bricklin, in music got me away from Barenaked Ladies and other Top 4o junk and into music that was a little less ...

Are there any Evergrey fans here?
I have their "Torn" CD and I think it's great!! Jari Kainulainen has done some of his best playing in years on it, I think. Feel free to agree or disagree here.

Re: Timo Kotipelto sings in an album for Children
I don't know if i got all the lyrics right, cuz quite frankly I can't figure what he's trying to sing in one part. Anyway, rough translation: Finnish: "tuokaa mulle ruokaa, ootan teidän kompostilastia, Ronnie James biojäteastia, jätteet maatuva mättö, ritareista on korkeinta kastia Ronnie James bio...

Re: Had Stratovarius broken up.
I know, what if threads are pointless, but interesting nonetheless. The main question is, how much bigger would Cain's Offering be if it were the banner production of Timo Kotipelto? I listened to some more of the new SA songs today, and honestly, Cain's Offering absolutely RAPES it. The only thing...

Has anyone here ever heard of Byron Nemeth?
Because he is opening for Sonata Arctica on Oct. 16 at Peabody's and I want to know what he sounds like or if he is even metal. Links to his music would help, too.
Thanks!
Thanks!

>sigh< I guess this incident just proves there are two sides to every story. Unless you are present as a witness there is absolutely no way to prove anything. But, it was just a concert, the world did not end, and there is always a next one. @Rebel, did you take any pictures? ??? Of the conc...

Anders Johansson has written about what apparently really happened on that flight when Yngwies fucking fury was unleashed. It involved urine and keyboard players getting naked on the plane apparently. http://content.expressen.se/blog/56/23/83/hardrock/images/jal.jpg The story is here http://blogg.e...

Re: Is it ever tolerable to heckle an opener? (full review 9/24)
Well, The opening band was DEFINITELY metal. http://www.myspace.com/darkarena I guess this lady is fairly frequent at this place, and she gave Sonata Arctica and possibly Edguy some shit when they played there. However she also had some story about Tony Kakko demanding to know how she got some scar...

This is no review, this is foolish. The truth is out there.
I know who you are, and it's funny how you didn't have the nerve or the rudeness to call me a fat bitch to my face that night, instead you decided to kiss up after you realized what a sad waste you were. Was it because you knew it would make you look like a jerk in front of a crowd of people? Or was...
