Re: What are you playing?
Not a fad at all. When it was first released, it felt a bit primitive- but they added a lot of elements to the game since then. Raids, battle, PVP, and trading, for example. Its a mobile game so you're never really "done" and there are paywalls here and there, but I do enjoy it. Hmm... Interesting....

I'm on a video game hiatus, currently. These days I'm playing Final Fantaxy XIII, more than halfway through. Even though the graphics are beautiful, it's my least favorite FF yet. I've played 6, 7, 8, X. You should check out Final Fantasy XII . It's my favorite in the series. :) Try the Inte...

CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG, some parts of the songs were clipping. Color me surprised. The part in Zenith of Power where Hitler comes in is clipped somewhat, but It's not something that is easily audible. When you look at the waveform there, some of the peaks are clipped, which will produce a small am...

As for the question of most masculine album after TT, s/t and Nemesis, that's a hard question. The rest are very close to each other in terms of testosterone present. I don't even know what the least manly album is. Polaris? I'd say Infinite is their least manly sounding album, with songs like Hunt...

Agreed mostly, but if any monologue Timo Tolkki wrote gets a 10 on the cringe meter it's the George W. Bush one in Rise of the Fourth Reich (Angels of the Apocalypse, 2014). I haven't listened to anything Tolkki put out since he left Stratovarius, so I didn't know about that one! Know the D...

Re: Stratovarius (2005)
I'd also place it as the second worst Stratovarius album, but that's not really saying much (because Stratovarius is such a god-tier band that even their weakest material is still quite strong). The issue I have with it, really, is that it consists of far too many mid-paced tracks with no speedsters...

Neat track :) . What do you think of Mike Oldfield or Vangelis? I've heard of Mile Oldfield, but I've never heard of Vangelis. I haven't listened to anything from either of these two. I realized after listening to this that I really love memorable poppy vocals lines, so that's the reason I was so hard on the melodies here; they lacked that quality, for the most part. I finally got around to listening to Angra's Angels Cry on my badass studio monitors. I listened twice to get a good feel. I checked and the sample size of reviews is so small < 10 that its probably not very meaningful. In that respect I think rym.com is much better as there are far more reviews. While I really like some of the songs on the Elements albums, my enjoyment of it is ultimately cut short due to the fact that I'm just not a fan of symphonic metal. My favorites from those albums tend to be the less symphonic-oriented compositions. Some of the songs are also just too saccharine for ...

Key to the universe is Mexican spiritual energy.
Why is it that, when Tolkki posts, he always uses sporadic capitalization?
