Broken heart thread

Hi,

Ever felt like somebody crushed your heart, grinded it, chewed it and then spit it out to you ? Well that's how I feel right now. I fell that I can never trust anyone, and that there is no better person for me than the one who crushed my heart...

Swine flu cases confirmed here Tacos, nachos, mariachis, Antonio Banderas, tequila, jumping beans, the end of civilization as we know it . Thanks, Stratoplayer. I pose this question to you: If a Muslim or a Jew die from a virus that had its genesis inside a swine, do they still get to go to heaven?...

What do you guys think about Oracle buying Sun ? I think that Oracle has the whole chaing now (Java, Oracle...

Re: Video for Deep Unknown...

Loads and plays very well, no stuttering or any other problems. It actually loaded faster than craptube, and the sound quality was much better!

Oh, and the song is absolutely brilliant!!!!!! :rvd:

The video is ok as well, a bit too much glare for my taste though.

I use Ubuntu Linux for all the "important" stuff, but I also have Windows as it is essential for games.. :D (I hate consoles) <rant> Ok, I'm ranting because I'm really pissed off at the Mac fans who just bash Windows blindly all the time. I always get into a bloody (well, not literally) argument wit...

Well, I'm definitely interested in it, but I have to say I'm also interested in the new Strato stuff that's coming out. I might not be able to afford to buy both :( but I guess I'll have to decide on one of them based on the samples...

The 'they' that are doing the preaching, begging and shouting for war and Death are often not the same 'they' receiving it in the end. Exactly! For Fuck's sake. Innocent people are being killed on both sides, do you really think that is acceptable ?!!!! I have a question for miditek and BEG. Please...

Mixing and Mastering

I thought I'd rant about this here. Why the hell is the mixing (or mastering) or whatever so crappy nowadays on most of the albums and DVDs ?? One example would be Death Magnetic, where the sound is distorted in many parts. (The drums in particular). It was recorded so loudly, that it's "overmodulat...

A question about orchestral arrangements

Hello! Does anyone know which Stratovarius album has a symphony orchestra playing ? A friend of mine knows a guy who played french horn on one of the albums, but wasn't sure of the exact album / song. I'd like to know which album / song that was. Unfortunately, I don't have all the albums with me no...

Yeah they played without light or electricity. :) Really nice from them to actually do that and not cancel the show..

I think they used a flashlight or something on stage and somebody was filming it.
