I contacted Nuclear Blast for some days ago as some of our readers at Metalcentral Netzine have been asking us for the releasedate as well. I got this reply from Nuclear Blast:

"Hello there,
the Stratovarious - DVD will be n o t out within the next few month....no confirmed Release-Date yet .....!!!

So, now it's moved WITHOUT a release date. Maybe this has something to do with the critical sittuation in Stratovarius... maybe it would not sell to well at the moment...

That's not a good new. Anyway, in Milano there where bubbles falling from the roof of the stage and it was during some Episode song, maybe Season of Change, it was a beautiful effect, in my opinion! Elks?? Of course there where alks dancing during Stratofortress!!! It was so funny even for Tolkki that ... ehm... forgot to play in some part!!

Are you kidding! I think the DVD would sell VERY well right now--especially among StratoFans, even the borderline ones. Even among people in the general MetalCommunity I think it might sell many copies due to the publicity of these past few months!
Of course, NB has professionals that study these things, so really, what do I know? I'm just guessing. I know I want a copy!

You are right, browney, noone needs to be professional to realize it. At this moment a release like this would have a special meaning to the fans and metalheads all around would be interested to see the band live... maybe for the last time.
Maybe NB is not happy with Stratovarius after alll...

I think NB will wait to see what if there will be a REUNION . If Stratovarius will reunion the sale situation will be gross due the advertisement of this reunion.
