I am hoping this will be just the first of a number of StratoTribute albums! :)

Only EIGHT fucking songs? That's disgusting. Tell me, please, the tracklist is not the definitive.

Highlord is a good Italian band, but the rest (apart from Skylark) are really unknown. Too bad, It would have been nice to see Rhapsody or some other fame band on this album.

But then again, they would need a good reason to cover a Stratosong. Rhapsody really dont have any. Its a whole lot different music.

And I also hope there will not be anymore tributes if its anything like Helloween ones.

First was really good. Second was bearable. The third, "Eastern Tribute" made me vomit.

A StratoTribute won't be a tribute without an Epic, such as Visions, Destiny, or INFINITY!!This calls for Rhapsody! ;)

Yes it does... but this isn't in my opinion a real tribute album... men, I even don't know if it will be sold out of Italy :D Well.... of course in the main countries you'll find it.

Anyway, apart from Highlord that are great, I can say that even Desdemona, Dark Horizon, and Kaledon are very telented bands. About Skylark, they are one of the most famous from Italy, but maybe not abroad. They are good but I guess quite too old now... :D

About Highlord, if you want to buy some CD, I swear that their "When the Aurora Falls..." is one of the best power metal albums I've ever heard. Their style is kinda Stratovarius + Angra + Helloween, they have fast solos of keyboards and guitars, a very nice voice and a hammer-drumming. I'm a totally non-fan of italian bands, I prefere nordic bands, but Highlord really rules, togheter with Rhapsody!!!

This is a reason.

Yeah! Only Rhapsody could do something with Infinity! It would be cool (and kinda weird) to see another bands, from another type of music, such as country  it would sound pretty weird....can you imagine Garth Brooks singing Speed Of Light? or maybe pop, maybe Timo's idol, Madonna could do something, nah just kidding, but seriously...including Rhapsody would make the tribute rock! Hell yeah! :D

Hey guys!!!
I took this news about the tribute from a Brazilian Metal website (http://whiplash.net). I'll translate the text to English and I'm sorry if there are some mistakes!!! The original text is at http://whiplash.net/newsmore.mv?inicial=13500

"Glory Opera plays in the Italian Stratovarius tribute (25/05/04)

Here is "Within Infinity" set list, from the STRATOVARIUS tribute, which is going to be released in Italy by Northwind Records in september/2004:

01 – HIGHLORD – "Against the Wind"
02 – DARK HORIZON – "Hunting High and Low"
03 – DESDEMONA – “Black Diamond”
04 – KALEDON – “Father Time“
05 – SOUTHERN COSS – “Will The Sun Rise”
06 – HERALDRY – "Kiss Of Judas"
07 – TOCCATA MAGNA - "Paradise"
08 – METAL KINGS - "Legions"
09 – SKYLARK - medley of "Out of the Shadows" e "Hands of Time"
10 – EDDY ANTONINI (Skylark) – “Forever”
11 - AMAZON - "The Abyss of Your Eyes" (Visions)
12 - HEAVEN'S GUARDIAN – Uncernity (Episode)
13 - GLORY OPERA – Forever Free

The most well-known bands are the Italian melodic ones, like SKYLARK
(seven albums released), HIGHLORD (four albums released), KALEDON (two albums released) and EDDY ANTONINI (keyboard player and SKYLARK's owner). And the Brazilian bands in the CD are: TOCCATA MAGNA, HEAVEN'S GUARDIAN, AMAZON e GLORY OPERA.

The tribute will have worldwide distribution and will be released simoultaneously in Japan, Europe and South America (By Megahard Records)."

This tribute-thing sounds quite interesting, but unfortunately I haven't heard anything about these bands which are participating on this record... But of course I'm going to buy it! :)

No one DESTINY or FRIGHT NIGHT or DREAMSPACE stuff?!?!? >=( Bastards!!!! It's not a tribute, I really think that they don't even know Stratovarius!
Man, sorry, but this tribute is nonsense, at least if we are talking about the track list, though I obviously love all the songs. You all know how a great tribute should be. Sorry again. :buh:
