First: Where's Fourth Dimension?
Okey, Fourth Dimension has not my favourite cover...
I like Fright Night, Visions, Destiny and Infinite most.
Infinite is done with computer and I don't respect computer-art so much.
Visions is cool, but strange, too strange.
Fright Night and Destiny have both amazing atmosphere.
But maybe I like Destiny's colours more.
And made with oil paintings!
So I must say Destiny. :)

I like VISIONS best......my second is 14 DIAMONDS, a rare CD, and my third is VISIONS OF DESTINY, a bootleg.
I'll post 14 Diamonds later.
TWILIGHT TIME cover is my second fav Studio album......

And, I like Hymn to Life&WFTD, too.

Visions, I just love it! If I had to pick another one I would choose Infinite.

Elements Part II. But it was really hard to decide. Fright Night, Visions, Destiny are very good as well. And of course the others too.

It was hard to choose between Infinite and Elements 1.

I also love the Million Light Years single!! It was my desktop picture for years (now I have E1 calendar.)

well, my favourite cover is "Fourth Dimension", so it's a pitty that you didnt mention in in your poll... :?
And I think that Derek Riggs' work for Stratovarius should have ENDED AFTER Infinite-Album, which is great. But Intermission, the Elements and the new singles really suck!!!

For me is Destiny. If we listen the music Destiny and see the cover: we can have the feeling of that guy in the cover who is screeming.

Very good
:P

Set of Elemnts - it's the best Derek Riggs works ever, great idea of presenting four elements, magnificient painting. Chosing one, I'd point at part one, but both makes great and ideal pair.
So where does the power come from to see the race to its end?
From within.

You're right, but these aren't album covers; I think they were on the two bonus-CDs of the Elements-packages. All the other stuff (the covers except Infinite and maybe Million lightyears away) appears very, very artificial. I don't understand why they didn't follow their way to change the cover artist after one or two albums... :?

If they'll have a new album, then they can change, if most pf the people don't like Derek's paintings. I like his works, but if you want to change, then vote John Avon. He is the Jens Johansson in Paintings. :P (Jens Johansson is the music's Mozart  )

The best cover for me is Visions, since it represents the album in general really well..
creates the right atmosphere to begin with, if you know what I mean.
Infinite & Elements pt. 2 are - in my opinion - great too. :)
