We only had untill now a single newspost from the webmaster but we haven't heard a lot from the band itself. It's all a little bit strange to me.
Could be I'm completely mistaking, I was just thinking.

That would have been a stupid mistake. Many fans turned their backs to Strato, and why would nonfans buy those albums, if there are problems in the band?Dave wrote:perhaps it was all just a fake.. to promote kotipeltos coldness.. and, of course, to promote the upcoming strato album

Judging by the way TT got sick after the split, I would say it's certain that he cares truly about sharing his art, and that he feels that Strato is the best way for him to do that.mango wrote:We all know that strato has reunited what still is great. But what do you think are the real intentions behind this. I have red that there was a chance that the record company was suing them for 1 million dollars, so is this reunion all about the money?

Yeah if Tolkki was only doing it for the money he would just have made the album with Miss K. Koti had his solo career going a little already, ok not so much but hes for sume more famous than herNightmare1z wrote: Personally, I've never really doubted we would see another Strato album. They had the contract - and I just couldn't see Tolkki risking losing everything just to keep the lineup. We might get a shitty album and something that sucks, but if he delivered, Strato would be fufilled. Now at least we have the band back, and hopefully they're doing it for the right reasons and it'll be a good album
So... does that mean you are going to continue making albums even after the new one?TimoTolkki wrote:there is still so much music to be recorded.
Quite a change from the "I'm never gonna play in a band with TK again in this life."TimoTolkki wrote:I realized that I am priviledged to be in the band with a guy like TK is.
He is genuienly kind and always wishes only good things to all people.

Great news... im really happy for youTimoTolkki wrote:The reason for reuniting is that I feel much better now and that I am able to do pretty much normal working days and that the trust is there again.
We´ve come so long way together and there is still so much music to be recorded.
The whole reunion thing did not happen in one week, but it was a process that ultimately led to a point when me and TK just had to talk straight with each other.
And it was great. I realized a lot about myself and he realized a lot about me. You see, in a strange way, we played 10 years in the same band, but never got to know each others. There was really no deep communication.
I went over to his house for sauna and we talked like 4 hours and I realized that I am priviledged to be in the band with a guy like TK is.

Of course he needed time to sort his feelings regarding me and my irrational & insane behaviour regarding Strato, but he has done most of that work by now. And my God, are we having fun in the studio now
His vocals are more emotional on this album than ever before and we all have grown a lot as human beings because all the bad things that has happened to us last year.
That IS good news. Its amazing how you learn the most about people after you've had a rough time with them. It's really cool that you guys were able to work out your differences tho. There's a lot of people out there who lack the insight and maturity to do that! If you can go through all the crap you just went through, and come out alive.... then I think there's nothing that Stratovarius can't survive through!!!!! :)TimoTolkki wrote:The reason for reuniting is that I feel much better now and that I am able to do pretty much normal working days and that the trust is there again.

I assume the contract for 3 albums is still there, so more great StratoMusic is in store for us!Mormegil wrote:So... does that mean you are going to continue making albums even after the new one?TimoTolkki wrote:there is still so much music to be recorded.
