from the heart?

We all know that strato has reunited what still is great. But what do you think are the real intentions behind this. I have red that there was a chance that the record company was suing them for 1 million dollars, so is this reunion all about the money?

We only had untill now a single newspost from the webmaster but we haven't heard a lot from the band itself. It's all a little bit strange to me.

Could be I'm completely mistaking, I was just thinking. :)

The band (probably) wants some time away from the media to work on the new material. I think that's why they haven't given any interviews or anything.. not yet anyways.
They will, when the time comes. :)

@ why they are reunited again.
well.. personally, I detest the idea that it was for the money.
Of course there are always tons of people who say it's all because of the huge fines the stratoguys would've had to pay if there was no reunion but..
I don't think so. I'm pretty sure the guys are making music pretty much for the fun of it;
they're doing the thing they love to do once again, and if that's not a reason for a stratoreunion, then what is? ;)

perhaps it was all just a fake.. to promote kotipeltos coldness.. and, of course, to promote the upcoming strato album

That would have been a stupid mistake. Many fans turned their backs to Strato, and why would nonfans buy those albums, if there are problems in the band?

i believe that money has played a role in the reunion too......but i think that it's more because they solved their differences and that they realized that there was no reason to break their 10 year old friendship(ship??is it written like that?)
just for some disagreements ....after all psychologists claim that a healthy relationship must have fights too otherwise it will turn to be boring....

Judging by the way TT got sick after the split, I would say it's certain that he cares truly about sharing his art, and that he feels that Strato is the best way for him to do that.

Even though he knew he was being sued, he still gave Kotipelto and Jörg a hefty golden handshake when he thought they were leaving for good, so I hardly think that his first priority is making cash. I think the same for the other guys too. And why should they not make some money? After the years of hard work and at the beginning I bet they were skint as students.

About the webmaster, he no longer works for Strato, and so Jens makes the updates for the moment, I think.

I can't believe that people think that the illness, breakup, Miss K, the stabbing and so on were all made up so that Strato would get publicity. If anything, I think the Miss K stuff hurt them more than got them on peoples' "must buy" list.

I am looking forward to some more genuine, heartfelt great music from Stratovarius! :D

The illness that spoild it all just receded now. TT is able to work and function normally now, and they are just doing what they can and like do the best, that's my opinion. I wouldn't say that it's only to meet the concract obligation, but having a concratct stimulate to work, and that's also a positive phenomenon.
So where does the power come from to see the race to its end?

I heard people that didn't know anything about Strato, but after the publicity and all the weird stuff went and bought albums. There is no such thing as bad publicity.

Personally, I've never really doubted we would see another Strato album. They had the contract - and I just couldn't see Tolkki risking losing everything just to keep the lineup. We might get a shitty album and something that sucks, but if he delivered, Strato would be fufilled. Now at least we have the band back, and hopefully they're doing it for the right reasons and it'll be a good album

Yeah if Tolkki was only doing it for the money he would just have made the album with Miss K. Koti had his solo career going a little already, ok not so much but hes for sume more famous than her

The reason for reuniting is that I feel much better now and that I am able to do pretty much normal working days and that the trust is there again.
We´ve come so long way together and there is still so much music to be recorded.
The whole reunion thing did not happen in one week, but it was a process that ultimately led to a point when me and TK just had to talk straight with each other.
And it was great. I realized a lot about myself and he realized a lot about me. You see, in a strange way, we played 10 years in the same band, but never got to know each others. There was really no deep communication.
I went over to his house for sauna and we talked like 4 hours and I realized that I am priviledged to be in the band with a guy like TK is.
He is genuienly kind and always wishes only good things to all people.
He is a really good man and I love and respect him.
Of course he needed time to sort his feelings regarding me and my irrational & insane behaviour regarding Strato, but he has done most of that work by now. And my God, are we having fun in the studio now :)
His vocals are more emotional on this album than ever before and we all have grown a lot as human beings because all the bad things that has happened to us last year.

Quite a change from the "I'm never gonna play in a band with TK again in this life." :D Anyway, this is great news both of you rock hard, I'm surely waiting to see you sometime in France.

That IS good news. Its amazing how you learn the most about people after you've had a rough time with them. It's really cool that you guys were able to work out your differences tho. There's a lot of people out there who lack the insight and maturity to do that! If you can go through all the crap you just went through, and come out alive.... then I think there's nothing that Stratovarius can't survive through!!!!! :)

I assume the contract for 3 albums is still there, so more great StratoMusic is in store for us! :rvd:
