If he wrote "sure sure", he must have a good reason. But still I'd like to know where he heard it from.
Nothing is 100% sure in life, so i'll rather say 99.9%.
Where did I hear it from... I don't think it's really important to know who told me this, at least I don't think it would prevent you from sleeping 8)

Nope, the Kabalah did! :D

I think it's pretty weird when a musician can't express himself through the music he plays!
how can a metal bassist don't move a muscle on stage while he’s playing such kind of music? :eyes:
I don't know if Jari enjoys playing music or not, but it was clear for me in the latest years that he wasn't enjoying being on stage with Stratovarius anymore...

Like someone here said ( I guess it was Fireblade), maybe he was just doing his job, but wherever you work I think you must have some positive attitudes towards your colleges. What if I came here everyday to work and keep a bad mood all over the day, talks to no one, and just do my job automatically like I hate what I'm doing?
I'm not saying we must be the coolest people on earth, but a bit of positive attitudes are always welcome.

I can't make judgments on Jari's happiness or job satisfaction.
And those of us who sit in the back(or even, Mid) rows of a show(in the semi-darkness) a couple of times, a year or two apart cannot make assumptions either way, either.

I think his decision to start his own band is a good one that we all should support.

Nobody said we don't support him. Actually, that was the best thing he could do if he didn't feel comfortable playing in Stratovarius anymore.
Besides, if Jörg said he seemed not to care to be in band, I won't say the contrary... I bet he knows much more about Jari's behavior than us.

Another thing that I think was odd, is that when TT was in hospital, Jens flew to Helsinki to help out in the studio (even though he has a partner) and Jorg was in the studio recording the drum tracks without much help (and he has a wife and 3 little girls) and Jari didn't go to the studio, even though he lives much closer than the other two.

That seemed odd to me at the time... :?

We always recorded together with drums and bass at the same time. I don't know why he thought he would not be able to help, maybe he just didn't think about it!
He doesn't even mention his name :/ I think there was something between those two too.

That's pretty interesting! :) When did you think of/notice that? It sounds like something out of those recent Finnish tabloids.

Up until the "Spain incident" Jari and TT seemed closer than any of the other members.Jari stood by TTup until that awul night. Before, In the Finnish papers, it was reported that Jari and TT went out together socializing and all. And there is a pic posted where they got drunk together and they are either passed out or posing for the Camera. :D
I think TT also posted he and Jari went out drinking and all. But, that was before the "Spain incident",TTs breakdown and Jari's marriage.
Things can change, and people change. That's life, I guess.

or maybe I have overinterpreted it.

Jens himself said that he and Jorg were in Helsinki recording, but there was never a mention of Jari there. It was said later by one of the Stratos (maybe by Koti, I can't remember) that Jari was not there, "perhaps he thought that he could not help, I don't know" was roughly what he said.

Since I can't read Finnish, I only know from the tabloids what is translated here by Finns... and it's just what I noticed at the time, and thought it odd, but said nothing.

Fireblade is right.

If I remember right, Jens (or was it Tolkki ?) posted a message in here last year, which was meant to kill the rumours that Stratovarius won't be able to play the tour. In that post, he mentionned something like "I play in a band with a singer who is in a hospital and we have absolutely no idea where is our bass player, even if he is meant to be in the studio right now to record with us". After that, people wrote quite bad things about Jari, that he was killing Stratovarius or something. Then, Jari came and replied something like : "I'll come and play if they need me" (which sounded a bit like "I'll do my job - and that's all"), but few hours later, someone removed the whole topic.

Yeah, I remember that. Jens said someting like "So far I have : a singer I've never met (i.e. MissK), a drummer who's not in the band, a bass player who is on another planet and a guitarist, songwriter and producer who's in a psychiatric hospital". But he sounded optimistic, and he was right after all :p

Yep, I remember all those statements...

besides, Jörg gave a complete interview to Rock Brigade this weekend, where he says that he recorded the drums of this album all alone, only jens was there to help him, but Jörg said he couldn't do much..

The interview is really long, so I hope I have the time to translate it and post it here.

But Jens was also the only guy from the band who went to Jari's wedding... weird...
