Stratovarius section in Strato Shop

Post by Destiny_SOS » Wed Aug 03, 2005 12:45 pm

I recently noticed a few days ago that Strato Shop put a Stratovarius section on it, when you click on the link there is nothing there, is it a problem with the link or are they updating it? I am not sure if it has been discussed yet, sorry if it is apointless topic.
anyway take care
many thanks
David

I wondered this too. I hope we can get special editions, shirts etc. at some point in the not-too-dstant future...

Looks like someone intends to sell them, anyhow. :D Just a matter of when. :?

I guess they are still updating it, because it was informed there that the staff has now holiday there. But there should come some fanstuff about the new album like they did earlier too. :?:

Well, about 2 weeks ago I got on a proxy(my WebTV cannot access StratoShop otherwise)and noticed that the StratoShop was just about sold-out of everything! :( I was planning on buying a couple things, but after I saw the shirts I wanted were sold-out, I changed my mind. :(
The vacation notice was there, too, so I could not have bought anything anyway. :(

I personally think they are going to get new stuff in, regarding the new album: stickers, shirts, mugs, jackets, etc. So, it may be some time before there is a restock. Thats just my opinion&I hope I am right because they have some nice things.
Yeah---I want a shirt with that new Lily motif, too! :)

AMEN!!! I HEAR YOU! ;) maybe after the Tour&Strato becomes more popular here, that will happen! :rvd:

In 2001, shortly after I discovered Stratovarius, I bought a Strato Shirt from Rockabilia, but THEY had to import it from Finand :? and I did not get that Infinite shirt for 2 months! But, it was worth the wait. Great quality&has not faded at all even though it has been worn and laundered several times!

I'm worried about the Shop, myself. Are they still "on vacation" or did they just neglect updating us? =P *wary about buying a shirt*

@CottonCandy: Good to know that the wait was worth it. No doubt about it! I'm glad to hear that it's a good quality item. Hopefully, I'll get one, too. =)

Well, Rockabikia does not sell Strato stuff anymore. :( I got their last 3 catalogs&the Infinite shirt id not listed any longer. The only Strato Item they sell now is the ElementsII CD&they special order it. :( BUT, I am hopeful Rockabilia&other Merchandisers will change their tune once Strato become more known here! :rvd:

BTW, glad to see another States person here! A Southerner, too!
I just live down the turnpike from you--in Sweet Home Alabama! :)
Don't believe what you hear, not all Alabamians are backward dumbasses--I play the part sometimes, but only because thats what some folks WANT to see! ;)
Anyway, Welcome to the Forum--we need all the USAers we can get! Helps support the band&all! :)

I should really check up on topics I post on more often . . .

Here in a few days, I'll suck it up and get a Kotipelto girlie and possibly the Infinite shirt as well. It'll probably take a month to get here . . . who knows.

@CottonCandy: Don't believe everything you hear about West Virginia, either! Although, some people - regrettably - live the stereotype. It happens everywhere, I suppose. Although, I have redneck tendencies, myself! =P

Anyway, I'm glad to finally post instead of just read topics around here. =)

I hear West Virginia is a beautiful state--I have been to Virginia(the Western tip, over from Knoxville/Oak Ridge, Tennessee)-the forest area&the forests are gorgeous in the Fall! Remember John Denver's song about W. Virginia? :D Strato is going to pay Virginia a visit on their USA tour--I bet ya'll feel so honored! ;) Seriously!

Hmm... in my haste I did not notice the lack of prices at the first look!

Do they appear if you add them to the basket, then check it?

Hmm.. I will wait for the single/album to be ready, and get stuff altogether. Or I'll wait to hear Gotterdamnthingy before I get a shirt of it.

-----

edti - didn't mean any disresepct. I just have not had the chance to hear Gotterdamnthingy-that-i-cant-remember-yet, yet.

I will buy the album in other way, it's cheaper. Second reason is that I've got to order some other stuff also.

I will probably buy the Album at Century Media, but unless some merchant in USA sells the T-Shirts, the Stratoshop is my&other USAers only option! I am hoping after the USA tour, T-shirt catalogs&stores will offer the StratoShirts.

Well, that´s not a problem. :)

I already ordered there four items, which all of them looked excellent. 8) Though the total price was quite a lot... Anyway, the MD shirts look someway crazy coz they are white. But maybe variety is the spice of life. :P

What does that word mean? ???
I know Gott means God, but whats the meaning of the entire word?
The Beauty-shirt is beautiful with that logo, but before I buy it I want to know what it means. Is it a cuss word? It would be embarassing if-:err:-I were at my parents&the minister showed up! Not that I really give a shit--unless he did understand German! =P

I thnk it's something like Fall or Twilight of the Gods? Not sure, though. Guess we have to wait for the song/lyrics to understand what it's about.

CottonCandy, I recommend going for the girlie shirts - I have a couple of the "unisex" ones and I could make a tent of them with a few garden canes. I have the old style flame lily vest, and I wear a crop top with it - it's low-cut.

The old Infinite girlie shirts had scoop necks, but since then the girlie shirts have had higher necks, like these new ones. I guess the suppliers don't make/provide them anymore.

The eagleheart girlie shirt is beautiful, the material is stretchier than the others (good in hot weather!), and the colours are really beautiful. It has survived the washing machine umpteen times without losing colour or shape.

.
The Random House college Dictionary (on my desk):

Twilight Of The Gods (Teutonic myth) = Götterdämmerung, Ragnarök

Wikipedia.org

Götterdämmerung: A translation into German of the Old Norse phrase Ragnarok, which in Norse mythology refers to a prophesied war of the Gods which brings about the end of the world.

Götterdämmerung is itself a translation of "ragnarökr" (twilight of the Gods) as written of in the Prose-Edda. In the older Edda only "ragnarök" (Fate of the Gods) is mentioned.

One more reference (Strato goes classical  :D )

Götterdämmerung ("Twilight of the Gods") is the last of the four operas that comprise Der Ring des Nibelungen (The Ring of the Nibelung), by Richard Wagner.

Heh, Google is my friend :D
