hmmm thx for the information on this way. i arrived 5 minutes before strato began :D. (dont know if it was 5minutes but it was ca one cigarette to go .... )
i will set the setlist as far as i remember, later on some of u can complete it:

1. Maniac Dance
2. Speed of Light
3. Kiss of Judas
4. Father Time
5. Eagleheart
6. ?
7. Fight

then i only remember the following songst, but no order:
Hunting High and Low, Destiny, United, Black Diamond and some Ballad i never heard before (it was before United, was it really the Land of Ice and Snow? i cant believe that!). but one thing i have to say: strato rocked, i liked it and i want to see them again!

hammerfall after that ... ahm was a kind of ... äh ... i dont really like them and the most ridiculous this evening was the guitar before hammerfall entered the stage .... it sounded like acdc is coming on the stage and i screamed acdc as loud as i could do :P. the song hammerfall is the only one i really like from hammerfall but it was in a way boring to see it live, sorry for all that hammerfall fans out there, i didnt like them on the wacken oper air festival and they changed nothing yesterday, even we left the palladium after the (it even was boring and in a way ridiculous) drumsolo (only ray of hope: the "Run to the Hills" drums in it, i like maiden very much ;)) but if u have seen a Mike Terrana live and then seen that .... very boring ;)

i hope u like my short and (for sure) in a way confusing report about yesterdays evening, i hope to see strato again soon, next time without hammerfall!

So first I have to say that it was a fucking great show :)

I was there very early so I got a place in first row :D
Before Shakra played I also was at the Marchandise stand and bought the Strato-2005-Lilly shirt with the M3 tourdates on the backsite.
There was was also a new Elk-shirt but never mind 8)
After that at 19:30 I watched Shakra.
It´s pretty nice Hard-Rock Band, but I used my earplugs for them (I need my hearing later you know what I mean  ).
The sound on the whole gig was great.

Then there was a little break.
There were two screens behind the stage that at first showed footage from the band's trip to South America.
Then Strato began to play.
And yeah they fucking rule again :)

The band looked very happy all the time.
And Timo`s flu was also cured.
The setlist was very short (because HammerFall were the headliners in Germany) but never mind.
Jens was amazing  instead of beginning his intro of Black Diamond, he drank relaxed his beer. He was also shown on the screens.
Tolkki´s backing-vocals were very nice.
Anyway I sang every song along

The setlist: (I think this one is right, if not please correct me)
1. Maniac Dance
2. Speed of Light
3. Kiss of Judas
4. Father Time
5. Eagleheart
6. Fight
7. Forever
8. United
9. Hunting High & Low
10. Destiny
11. Black Diamond

At the end we had to count up to four on finnish :D
Absolutely great show :)

So then there was a "little" longer break until HammerFall began to play.
The whole stage was decorated like an arctic landscape.
It looked pretty nice.
HammerFall did a very good job too.
But they look pretty strange
But the setlist was very good, because there were many songs played from "Glory To The Brave".
Anyway I knew most of the lyrics, so I sang along :D
HammerFall was defenitely more active than Strato
I also shook the Hand of Magnus Rosen 8)
Anyway the whole gig there was a nice mood.

The Setlist:(no guarantee of accuracy  )

1. Secrets
2. Riders of the Storm
3. Renegade
4. Let the Hammer Fall
5. Hammerfall
6. Glory To The Brave (suprise suprise 8) )
7. Fury of the Wild
8. At the End of the Rainbow
9. Steel Meets Steel
10. Blood Bound
11. Heeding the Call
12. Templars of Steel
13. Hammer Of Justice
14. Hearts on Fire

Right now my neck pangs
But that is METAL :headbang:

If you find spelling or grammar mistakes then you u can keep them

And who cares ?
That´s the topic about the show in Cologne as you can see.
If you would read my post then you could see that HammerFall was the headliner, so Strato´s playing time was lidded.

First of all I have to say that yesterday all 3 bands did a great job! I haven't heard anything about Shakra until yesterday and I was quite surprised that they were that good. About Stratovarius I have to say that it was once again a pleasure to see the band live on stage. I simply love this band! About HammerFall... yeah... it's the same thing as with Stratovarius: I have never seen a bad show of either of these bands!

But there is one thing that I didn't like and it had nothing to do with Shakra, Strato or Hammer, it was once again the fucking Palladium in Cologne! It is the arena with the worst acoustic an arena ever had. Who already has been to the Zeche (Bochum), E-Werk (Cologne; opposite the Palladium) or JUZ (Andernach) knows what I mean.

But yesterday that hasn't been all. The sound of the bands was so bad and not very loud either. When the Strato-Show startet I pulled the earplugs out of my ears because it was so quiet! The first words of Maniac Dance Timos micro was off. During the first 5 or 6 songs (!) Tolkkis guitar couldn't be heard at all! After that the sound got better but still wasn't that good as for example during the three song setlist of Strato at Wacken.

HammerFall after that also had a better sound, but wasn't good enough.

So the only consequence for me is not to go to the Palldium again because this wasn't the first time that sound and acoustic were that bad in that location. I hope for the future that Strato will go to the E-Werk on the other side of the street as they did in the last years.

For me the sound was pretty acceptable.
Ok I was standing in the first row, before the amplifier 8)

That could be the reason why I thought that the sound was better wenn HammerFall played because there I had the possibility to get nearer to the stage. But at a good location where the acoustic is of a better kind it does not matter if you are in the first or in the last row. And this is definitely a problem at the Palladium...

refering Strato I think it was first Eagleheart and then Father Time

Hammerfall added 2 Songs to the official Setlist which was at the front of the stage for the security (pyro) ^^

well I missed the half of Hammerfall because of my Stratovarius Interview...

well I'll post the links to Interviews and Live Review here when it's online ;)

does anyone have the Setlist of Shakra?

Either the Secret Mod, or one of the Band Mods deleted it. Evangelion made some smartass comments&POOF--it was gone! Or Nordic, the author deleted it. But, I doubt that, because it was going good until Eva posted its 2 cents worth on it! :pissed:
