I'm pretty sure Lost Souls in Endless Time was one of the tracks on their latest album, wasn't it? Sonic Firestorm?

I really enjoy all their albums, I know a lot of songs tend to be repetitive however why destroy a winning formula? AC/DC does it and so does motorhead as has been pointed out.

Some bands like to constantly change and some bands like to stick to their guns, I say go with whatever works for you.

It was a bonus track coming with Inhuman Rampge (third album) special edition.

... Scars of Yesterday? I've never heard of that one, and I've seen the discography.

Anyway, I've never heard of Motorhead... but I loathe AC/DC.

Wasn't that a cover version of a song from a Side-Project of one of the members?

Strike of the ninja is a track from a shadow warriors demo called feel the fire that had Zp (singer) and Sam (guitar) in it.

The point wasn't whether or not you like motorhead or AC/DC the point is that they have a successful formula which they follow and that works for certain bands.

The point is that they are not musicians, they cannot play well and everything goes on the part of the commercialism.
Maybe my opinion of them is based on the unique power metal bands i like are stratovarius and sonata arctica, for the way of composing music.
sry for my english.

They can play accurately, what else is there to playing well?

It's more than likely another quip about their supposedly altering the speed of their recordings. As I've stated before, I won't pretend to know if they do or not (given what I've heard I choose to believe they do, at least), and I honestly don't care either way. As far as Webster's concerned they're musicians, and as long as I find it enjoyable to listen to, I don't give a damn how much money they intend to make off it. If money is their sole purpose, then their albums will start sucking pretty soon and I'll lose interest, but for now, I'm enjoying it while I have the opportunity.

To be honest I haven't cared for a lot of their latest songs. I already mentioned Lost Souls in Endless Time, but for the most part the only areas I usually enjoy are the choruses. Rest of the song doesn't seem to have much order behind it in most cases.

Playing accurately is only one part of playing well.

The knowledge that playing 8 notes a second is technically impressive but sounds hideous.

For me, some of the most beautiful music that I have heard involves playing 8 notes a second and more.

OH Jesus Christ

again my point is missed, I'm SIMPLY saying certain formula's work for certain bands REGARDLESS of whether you like them or not.

THE SAME applies to Dragonforce

sorry I'm a little agitated today

Not if they're whole notes  Also, apart from playing accurately you have to be able to make the right face to go with the right note. These people play quite well for example: http://blog.wfmu.org/photos/guitar_face/index.html

Does anyone have links to the kind of faces the Dragonforce guitar players make so we can judge for ourselves?

Well those faces are quite nice and they are made in a live performance. Unless there's some sort of photoshop manipulation involved in the making of the faces I think this settles it.

It's definitely not a math face, or at least I have never ever seen someone create a face like that when they are number crunching.
