Just in from the gig. Fantastic show but was cut short because of TK being really ill and Matias' semi-acoustic having a failed pickup (15 minute delay)
More photos here (the only salvagable pictures, my phone sucks):

Partial Setlist (made some trips to the bar and missed a couple)
Hunting High and Low
Speed of Light
Higher We Go
Paradise
Matias Solo
? (bar trip 1)
Winter Skies
? (bar trip 2)
Forever
Eagleheart
-Encore-
Jens Solo
Black Diamond
Deep Unknown is the first of the two encore songs but it was removed due to time problems. For any doubters: Matias can certainly shred the classics.
Oh, and if you get around to reading this Lauri: Nice try, but that Scottish accent was hideous. Though I'm sure you'll say the same about our Finnish, yes?
Edit: More thoughts tomorrow, too drunk and tired.

I can't provide it since it was a cut-down setlist. Someone with a press pass did get a shot of the full thing though but I don't know who the guy works for.

My friend has the whole setlist. I'll get him to tell me it later. I can upload more pictures later if you wish. I met the band back stage and got my Visions album signed ( no Polaris unfortunately ) and talked with the band for a bit. All in all I had a great time. My neck, back, and legs disagree however.

Hah, I'm still suffering from a complete loss of hearing in my left ear because of the crap acoustics and where I had to stand to get decent pictures.
Right around the time the doors opened, We all saw Lauri and Matias sneak out, probably to go find a pub. Neither looked too happy to be honest but TK was really, really ill and it was raining quite badly.

Damn!! I was looking forward to this show so much!!
First the pissing down rain...but aye being in Scotland it was only part of the fun.
The first times I saw Strato was almost like 10 years ago when they were touring with SA and Rhapsody. I have always enjoyed their sound live. Wherever they played, they always sounded the same : PERFECT!!
YESTERDAY WAS BLOODY ATROCIOUS.I understand TK was ill and good on him for the 'show must go on' attitude. It was the first time I saw TK leaving the stage this often and not singing the high notes.
When they started 'paradise' I was just worried for him. The chorus is well hard to sing in normal times. So this did not go down well. Even the opening was sloppy...The end of Hunting high and low was so not TK. His voice sounded squeaky and curiously very similar to that of Eden's curse 's singer at times....The set was wayyy too short ... omly two songs from Polaris ...They have not even played Deep unknown...was really looking forward to this one.I do think the acoustic of the place and the sound engineers did not do the band any justice. Hopefully they will go back to SCtoland in a more decent venue( the place was jampacked on a sunday nite!!)
The worse sound of the night was for Firewind though..the first few songs were just too messy..you could not figure out what was really happening. That was another down yesterday. I went to see Majestic years ago with Appolo (now firewind's singer) and that was a totally different thing just everything was better.
Nice surprise was Eden's curse they totally had the place on fire. Best crowd reaction I have ever seen for an opener and they truly deserved it.
Hopefully the band will get some rest and will trully enjoy the summer festival. We need to see them back here in a bigger venue and on a good day.
Sorry if this sounds like rant but I truly love the band and I knew it was the first time they played in Scotland and I just wanted them to blow people's mind away so that their music becomes more accesible here!!

With any luck, they'll get the ABC or King Tut's as a venue next time. Both are small enough to be profitable and the acoustics are much better.
Firewind were alright, Got some good pictures from their set.
Eden's Curse were remarkably good for an opener. I fully expect they'll have a headlining UK tour within 12 months. I got to speak with the band after the show which was a nice change from the usual vanishing act most bands tend to do as soon as their set is over.
