Visions Of Destiny

Post by Florian » Sun Jun 28, 2009 11:02 pm

Hello, I searched with the search function but found nothing. So I'm asking about a CD called "Visions Of Destiny". Is it a bootleg or an official release? Here is the front picture:

And the setlist is:

1. Destiny (8:31)
2. Paradise (5:42)
3. Speed Of Light (3:23)
4. S.O.S (4:32)
5. Anthem Of The World (8:50)
6. Forever Free (6:19)
7. Black Diamond (6:52)
8. The Kiss Of Judas (6:04)
9. Distant Skies (3:04)
10. Forever (4:32)

The site tells it was recorded at Tavastia Club the 31st of March 1999. I know a video bootleg of this concert exists, so...

It's a bootleg. The gig, or the summary of it, was shown on TV and the audio is from the broadcast. So the quality is good. I found and bought this record for a very reasonable price on Huuto.net which is like a Finnish eBay. It's kewl. 8)

I chose CottonCandy as my nick 'cause I'm sweet, soft, and pink!

Being "in the know" is not necessarily a good thing. ;)

Sometimes I think how all singers can remember their songs so good, Stratovarius have about 130songs and kotipelto remember lyrics well... :D And Kiss have made about 200songs hard to remember. But of course they practise them before gigs but still...

Yeah! In the first chorus he really sings something like '...da duh da duh die' instead of '...to just live another day'.

I really laughed when I heard that. :P

Are bootlegs like this hard to obtain/buy? Because this one seems really cool!

Reminds me of the Angra show where Andi Deris and Michael Weikath were guests and played Eagle Fly Free. Andi forgot the lyrics and made something up that didn't make any sense but sounded funny XD

Oh yea I remember that  And on "The Live Ride" bootleg he forgets the lyrics to I Want Out on the first and second verse... so funny. But then again, Andi can do whatever he wants :P
