Re: Timo Tolkki & The Aquarius
Is this guy even singing in the same key?!
He's nice to look at, but...yeah, he's better with the mute button.

The most awful thing!
It sucks!
Timo, playing the songs that made him famous with non-capable people.
If I were Timo, I would consider complete retirement from the music scene after this.

Re: Timo Tolkki & The Aquarius
that was bad, im guessin those guys paid tolkki big bucks to have him playing there , If I had that chance, believe me I will put 110% on stage, they seemed way to laidback...the singer doesnt have any stage prescence, and tolkki therefore is like...."show me the money"

Re: Timo Tolkki & The Aquarius
"Forever" wasn't too bad, even though the singer messed up the words.
Re: Timo Tolkki & The Aquarius
I can see some effort there however the problem is the musicians he's working with seem amateur at best.

Re: Timo Tolkki & The Aquarius
Well, I myself probably have just about the same accent, but this vocalist really sucks...
However, I'm more amazed with the poster that promoted this gig.
Mastermind of Stratovarius, eh?))

Re: Timo Tolkki & The Aquarius
You gotta love that "Mastermind of Stratovarius" gimmick.
Seriously, he and Geoff Tate should form a band and call it "Masterminds of our Former Bands". At least then Tolkki would have a decent singer in his band again.

only the brain from pinky and the brain should be called a mastermind, otherwise it just seems silly

Re: Timo Tolkki & The Aquarius
Who the bloody hell handled that marketing BS? Captain Freakin Obvious??
Anybody whod bother to attend an event like this knows who TT is & if they dont theyre not going to know what Stratovarius are either.
(deep calming breaths)
I try very hard not to negatively criticise people (in this case a band), so all ill say is that I couldnt bring myself to watch the whole videos.

You can have the greatest music in the world however if it's performed by musicians who are not that good the end result is going to be something painful to listen to.

Re: Timo Tolkki & The Aquarius
i cant really get the recording quality, but apart from the singer, i did not hear much that was bad about the rest of the musicians.
Re: Timo Tolkki & The Aquarius
It's the same for me Icecab, the other musicians seem okay but the Lead singer is the part I don't like the most. I just feel that they could have chose someone better.

I am now starting to question whether this latest incident is also another publicity stunt.
