At the off chance you might be scouring the forums. How do you go about recording your solos? Do you just go dry, no effects from the JV into the morley and mono into cubase? To my ears it sounds like you have a flanger or chorus applied after the distortion? I can't quite place it.
I assume the reason why your lead sound sounds noticeably different on different albums is because there are a few effects that go into completing the sound in the mixing process? For example, its very different sounding when you recording for Sonata Arctica, and that was different from when you recording with Kamelot, and of course both of those are different then what you have in strato, and ALL of that is different then what you got going on live lol.
