I'm just here praising that godly artwork and those 10 tracks, you all should do the same for fuck sake
I really appreciate your YouTube channel, that's what got me really into Stratovarius in the first place, and that's how I spread it around to some of my friends as well.
Also, in regards to that cover art: damn I wish I could art that well...

One of my favorite bands together with Stratovarius.
(Were the line-up Anderson, Squire, Howe, Wakeman, White.)

I believe it's in October!
I also think they made a mistake in the announcement. I believe the DVD will contain footage of LoudPark 2013. That's when Stratovarius last performed there, and all professional footage of that show was recently deleted from YouTube.

Correct. Jens wrote that and the ballad, Lauri wrote one song, I don't know which one yet. Kotipelto wrote Man in the Mirror and the single, and one other one. Matias wrote the rest.
That's all conjecture from various comments from the band, a friend of mine asked the question in an interview and I guess Jens and Timo couldn't actually remember who wrote what at the time.
They let us have signatures on this forum???

Wow......Wow and Wow! My Eternal Dream gives you what should've happened after Infinite! This is Melodic Power Metal pure and simple! They've brought the speed back and did not sacrifice the leaps achieved on Nemesis! Digital download preordered already! This album sounds like it will be up there with the classics!

This calls to mind classic Stratovarius and Sonata Arctica. Tony Kakko and the rest of SA take notes, THIS is how you write good music! Let's see how good the previews are...
My Eternal Dream is 100% classic Stratovarius, the modern equivalent of Father Time and Black Diamond.
Shine in the Dark - we've all heard this song before. I must have listened to it a thousand times since it came out...
Rise Above It is fast and very melodic with a catchy chorus. What is there to say except that it sounds llike the best of classic Strato & WHG SA?
Lost Without a Trace - the full song's been posted on YouTube but this is much better quality. It reminds me of somewhere in between Black Diamond and Before the Winter, like A Million Lightyears Away but with a darker touch and another amazing solo section.
Feeding the Fire, the best of classic and modern Strato put into one song. I like the key change in the middle of the chorus. It's like Hunting High and Low but faster.
In My Line of Work continues on with the tempo from Feeding the Fire. The catchy riff and vocal layering in the chorus remind me of RN-era SA. Possibly the catchiest riff in the samples so far. Not bad.
Man In the Mirror is very dark. It's like Eternity or Babylon mixed with a faster Infernal Maze. Lots of layered vocals in the chorus and you can even hear a snippet of the solo. The riff in the verse gets my attention right away.
Few Are Those is a bit like Fantasy. Typical uplifting Stratovarius, but the bridge specifically calls to mind Antemortem and The Boy Who Wanted to Be a Real Puppet.
Fire in Your Eyes reminds me of One Must Fall. I'll have to listen to it more to form a proper opinion on it. For now, it also makes me think of Tallulah, The Misery or Broken, or A Night to Forget by CO.
Lost Saga, the snippet is from the first six minutes which have already been posted to YouTube. That riff is really fricking heavy. I cannot wait for the album.

Wow! This album is exactly what I hoped it would be! The perfect merge between old and new Stratovarius. Wow, wow, WOW!

I do really hope they play the rest of the songs in the album key when performing live. Shine In The Dark was already tuned down at Wacken. Hope that's the only one.

Can't stop listening to those samples in the US iTunes Store. Favorite so far is Few Are Those. That chorus gives me epic Strato feels.
"For few are those who see with their own eyes
Few who feel with their own hearts
And few are those who reach for the stars
And few who do love everyone"
(Or something like that)
