What is it doing with another name in a free server? As I have it on my own myspace account it's supposed to be "public" for people who access there, but not for being downloaded, renamed and re-uploaded somewhere else

Luisa, is that imageshack account yours? If so, could you please remove my pic from there? If not, does anybody knows how to contact the owner of a imageshack account?

Whats your problem? Pictures can easily be downloaded from MySpace websites. That is nothing new.

Yes, people can copy and paste pics from public profiles on Myspace. so, the only way to stop that is to make pics and profiles private to just friends.

I know that, you can download a pic you like if wanna keep it in your HD, but I mean I don't agree to re-upload it somewhere else without the owner's permission. That fact that "it happens all the time" doesn't make it right.
And now that "the owner" -me- has expressed her disagreement, it's a matter of courtesy to do what the owner is asking for.

If at least the pic would have been directly linked to my site, it wouldn't bother me like this.

I recommend that you simply watermark your photos. As in:



The reason why people usually save images and upload them on Imageshack ect. is because the original user can delete/rename/replace images in their original sources thus making the linked image disappear.

O_O ? The only thing I did is that i saved this pic (i don't remember where did i get it), uploaded it to imageshack and copied the link here... i don't know about imageshack accounts and that stuff sorry :/
